Employee not wearing mask. Truck not cleaned trash and mud inside and ramp caked in mud. Dirty blanket strewn around truck floor and Gatorade bottle in the blankets. Employee didn't offer to let me take the clean blankets. Truck had major mechanical issues but I didn't have time to deal with them. No customers coming in the location were wearing mask, felt very dangerous to my health.Todd H.

The tail lights didn't work on the trailer and the trailer was initially hard to get to because of the tall grass but that was the only issues. The staff were extremely nice and helped me out a lot which meant a lot. The prices are really high for a Uhaul.Greg M.

The uhaul was set for me to pick up in Wake Forest. I arrived, no greeting, actually walked into a conversation the two employees were having. I said I was there to pick up the uhaul and the man working at UPS said the truck was not at that location but he did find where the truck was located. Then I had to have the people dropping me off then drive me to this Franklinton Location that was 7 miles away in BFE. No heads up, nothing from the company. We have dropped off here several times and the gentleman whom helped us is great. During our last drop off of a trailer my husband wasn't available. The gentleman had one of his other customers (turned out he was a professional truck driver of many years) back the trailer in for us.Holly L.

The only complaint came after the drop-off. Mr. Fields told the clerk he wanted to drop it off at a UHaul Center to get the discounted rate, but she didn't reflect that on the confirmation as it should have been. We didn't realize that until we dropped it off at the UHaul Center in Wake Forest this morningTonnitte G.

Trailer had severely unbalanced tires. It shook like mad the whole time. Roadside assistance accused me of trying to get a free one way rental. I had to go slow so I was an hour late returning it and I was charged for 2 rental periods! So unhappy. Will seek competitors to rent from in the future.Tiomas B.

However at Corner Grocery on Sunday, May 26, 2019 my original pickup at 9:00 AM wasn't available. The representative was not friendly and he has zero customer service and he shouldn't be working in the service industry. First, he didn't call to tell me know that the order wasn't available until 11am. Two, I asked him to call me back when knew when will be available and he didn't. Third, he talk me that â€œI told you that the truck will not be here until 11amâ€ and â€œ why you hereâ€ ,And â€œ I will call you in 10min to let you know if it is here. I waited from 9 am to 11:15am for the call, no call and no information from grocery store location. Last, the representative didn't call at all to apologize or reschedule it or help me knowing that I was waiting to pick up the truck. I do think that his behavior was inappropriate and unhelpful. I'm expressing concern about this location and how they've treated me. Thank you and I hope that this unfortunate situation doesn't happen to someone else.amine B.

The manager that contacted me to confirm the rental was very rude and not helpful whatsoever. I'm not sure how she is a manager, but someone needs to teach her about customer services and business ethics. Long story short the location I was told that had a 6 x 12 trailer did not and she recommended a location that was an hour away and didn't want to help me in any way. I told her I had already scheduled someone based off this trailer and I didn't have time to take it back to Sanford. She said she would have to charge me an additional $70 to return it to my local store for a one way rental. I'm not the one that said there was a trailer there. A Uhaul employee states this and why should I have to pay for one of her coworkers mistakes. I finally said you might be a manager, but there's no way your the boss because a boss would not act like this. Her boss called me back and was polite and found a location 30 minutes away. I get there and they have multiple 6 x 12 trailers. I wish I had the first persons name that called me, but she is clueless. She wants to send me an hour away and there's multiple trailers right beside me. I would have spent 4 hours in traveling time. She kept saying sir what do you want to do and I told her you don't care, because your not the one that has to waste their time and money. I also told her you should look up how much business my company does with you and you act like I'm a blow joe. My company works in 48 states and uses U Haul all over the place. I was very pleased with the trailer and it was very helpful, but the women that confirms the pick up made the process a living nightmare.Eric R.
I recommend having another worker to help with uhaul customers instead of only tending to convenience store customers or have instructions posted for uhaul customers to complete check-ins on their mobile phones. Owner should sell the minimum of hitches and adapters for customers to complete the towing connection.Christopher V.

Pull up door stuck would not go down. Only allowed us 30 miles for all day rental. Had to pay extra mileage. $126.00 + taxes and fees ended up costing over $180 had the truck for 2 hrs. Truck sounded like it was going to blow up. Would not go over 40 miles per hour. Would not recomend using U-Haul rental trucks at all, don't care which location. Very disappointed.
