It was closed when I dropped the truck off. It’s not this location that’s the issue. It’s uhaul corporate’s ineptness and ridiculous policies that’ll prevent me from ever using or recommending uhaul again.

My experience with the reservations, picking up the truck and returning it all went very smooth. I would recommend. Merica Motor Works to anybody who’s wanting to rent a big truck. It all went well.

I had an emergency related issue when I went to get my rental in the parking lot. I spent the entire day at thr er with my fiance and was unable to get it the day I reserved it and the guys there were very understanding and let me get it the next day.

Everyone at UHaul was really great to work with, on both ends. The pick up was easy. The location is about a mile from the Airport so a quick walk was needed when I landed and the truck was clean and ready to go.

Uhaul changed local pickup forcing me to drive 1.5 hrs 1 way to pickup truck that was in fair condition at best. 40 min to check in with app no blankets that were part of order. Then they tried to make me think they were compensating with 230 free miles for added time and fuel for going to montrose, when they were actually unchanging on truck. Instead of $40 rate for extra days they charged $49,95. I will never recommend uhaul.

Charged a $25.00 cleaning fee, when returning the rental. The rental was clean and swept out. All the attendant did was remove the 2 dollies to storage and count the furniture pads.

Fix your computer system. The staff on both ends were extremely helpful. The computer system was horrible. We also had wonderful loaders. How do I leave a review for them? I've tried numerous times.

The location was great as were the people, but it was not the location where I was "guaranteed" a truck. This is a persistent U-haul problem, not associated with any specific site. I flew into Montrose, and walked to the site I was promised a truck, and literally at the same time, received a text from U-haul that my site had been changed because the truck I was promised was not available there. I'm sure the U-haul "guarantee" has print that obviates the actual guarantee of a vehicle. Merica Motoworks was great, as was the Offroad Solutions, the original site. Mike at Offroad was kind enough to give me a right to Merica.

Merica Motorworks was amazing they helped me even during closed hours on the weekend. U-Haul however was horrible to work with, the reservation guarantee is only a guarantee they will take your money and call you two days before to let you know that you’ll have to travel to get a truck. The computer system needs updating so that when you make a weekend reservation it prompts you to adjust for closed locations. Ryan at Merica saved the day and I really appreciate my luck in catching him on his day off!

Andrew and the team are extremely friendly and responsive to the needs we have for rental vehicles. They make it very easy to pick up and return our rentals. I very much enjoy renting from them. They are my “”goto place” for rentals. Thanks so much for such a great experience. We absolutely would recommend them to our friends and coworkers.
