The guy gave me wrong information and was over charged. Also the vehicle was not clean.

The mgr was horribly rude and sent us off saying equipment wouldn’t work (hitch). We left to go to another U-Haul spot only to find out the original equipment at the first place would work and had to go back. After an hour of all of this the mgr then made us feel uncomfortable in his shop. He also didn’t come out to help with hooking up the trailer to our car, nor did he come out to inspect it was done properly or check the trailer lights. I will never again use this place - ever.

I was charged $70 dollars, plus another $3.57 was taken from my account for a truck plus fees that came up to $69 and some change. The representative at that location did not or would not issue my receipt because he wanted me to pay an additional $3.57. I will never rent from UHaul again. Overall it was horrified and I will tell everyone I know to rent from somewhere else besides here.

Your website was down at this location and I had to notify the manager of a terrible skipping transmission. Regular maintenance should be done to ensure the customer is safe vs. the customer paying extra for liability and safety concerns.

U need someone to operate rentals only not a mids employee that has many other obligations I waited for about 15-20 minutes for help with getting my rental. Same as to returning it

The truck had an issue with the roof it leaked water all over my stuff .. it damaged a matress which cost me over 700$ ..

Allow more miles for trips because the drop off location plays a part in the amount of travel going to be done. Although I did not go over many miles(only about 5 or so) I still feel giving customers more breathing room to accomplish a move would be nice.

It took the guy 45 minutes to get my rental agreement ready off the computer. He changed what i already had ordered. Taking off insurance after he asked me 3 times and told him yes i want it. That took another 15 minutes for him to fix his mistake. Suppose to pick truck up at 10:00am. Was there at 9:50am did not leave out of the place til 11:45am. After everything was done online all i had to do is pay. The guy didn't know what he was doing 3 different contracts were printed out. Card was swiped 5 times. Very disappointed in u-haul today.

Awful service from UHaul in general! Bait & Switch - booked several days ahead of time and when we went to go pick up (at alternate location because suddenly our preferred location had no truck) it turns out the location we had scheduled to drop off at was not available either! we had to choose another location and when we went to drop off there - the location stated they were no longer affiliated with UHaul. We had to search out another UHaul location and drive there only to find out we could not drop off there without approval. 15 minutes on hold with customer service then to be disconnected. Call back again and after another 15 minutes on hold were able to arrange my drop off. Could not file a complaint. Evidently you have to return and pay for rental before you can request assistance/complain. I won’t spent another 15 minutes on hold but I will never rent from this Bait & Switch company again.

Opted out of insurance on my reservation. Upon pickup I was given a price higher than the one on my reservation, turns out the employee slipped in safe move insurance without asking or even mentioning it at all. Total scam and the last time I use uhaul.

I reserved a trailer at the Grayslake location. But I had to drive to Waukegan to get it. That really is a miss on customer service. Make the customer go out of their way instead of honoring the commitment made weeks prior. Huge miss.

I only received 5 pads when the rental agreement said 6, also the trailer was full of banding from a previous customer - but the equipment was in perfect working order and the people @ Midas were great - I would definitely use this service again

Although everything worked out fine in the end it could have been more convenient for the customer. This is the first time I've ever rented a U-haul and was not assisted with the hook up or drop off. As I get older this becomes more difficult. Also, the first trailer I hooked up by myself had a wiring issue where the marker lights were out on one side. So I had to hook up to another. If I hadn't checked it out for myself and left the lot it would ave been a problem. Dropping it off this morning, same thing. Lifting the trailer off the hitch by myself before heading to my desk job. They didn't even look the unit over before I left even though I requested it. Tey were all concerned about me getting the unit back in time so they wouldn't have to charge me an extra day. I was there Saturday @ 7:30A for an 8A reservation. They tried to charge me for three days even though it was clearly being returned Monday before 8A. I dropped it off @ 7:35A

They helped me load my car onto the auto trailer and hook up the trailer. Truck had barely 300 miles on it. Equipment worked perfectly, no complaints.

The tires on my trailer were bald when I picked it up, which I discovered when I got home. I had to take the trailer to a different uhaul service location wher they were nice enough to replace the tires. It took about an hour to change out the tires , and a half hour each way to and from the device facility. Waste of time on a hectic day with a tight schedule. Fortunately I noticed the tires which the average renter may not have. Not pleased

At the minimum, offer connect the trailer and check lights for you. This was not the case at Midas in Waukegan. Extremely poor service and bad for the Uhaul name.

The salesman that assisted me could really use better customer service skills. Also UHaul really should lay off of the tactics used to convince or almost force the consumer to purchase the $10.00 a day insurance in fact you can't really do ANYTHING if the consumer doesn't give you $25000.00 should an accident occur, all you can do is bill the consumer. This was my very last time using UHaul.

Ensure employees know the vehicle was turned in or not. I was told when I picked up my vehicle that it was not returned. It took them over four hours to locate the truck that was already turned in but not logged back in, so I lost almost 5 hours of move time with my moving crew. Very frustrating to know that my vehicle was there the whole time just not logged in.

This location refused to hook up the trailer stating that it was a liability issue and it they touched anything they could be held liable.i asked who was going to hook up the trailer and the response was you are. i,m 72 years old with a bad back no way could or would I try and lift it on to the van. They finally did lift it on to the van but did not tighten it. Had I not tought to double check the hook up I would have left with the trailer loose and for sure would have caused an accident with the first bump of any size. These guys should have their franchise revoked, the worst experience ever. they even had me returning the trailer to another country. Lock City on the other hand was just the opposite Excellent in every way.
