Unfortunately, worst U-Haul experience I have ever had. I have been using U-Haul since 1991 having to move around while in the military. Pick-up location was not chosen by us, but changed by U-Haul. We originally selected a location 7 miles from our house and were instructed to pick up at a location on the other side of the county. Mileage distance is not that far (30ish miles) but with traffic took us almost an hour to get to the location. Once at the location there was only the single U-Haul truck and no physical person to assist us. It is a virtual pick-up location, which required us to download an app and navigate through it to even get the truck (another 45 mins). The truck was dirty, including trash that had been left in the cab behind the seats, the rear was dirty and had to be swept prior to loading. There was damage to the truck that had not been previously marked the the "X" stickers. Thankfully, we were able to take photos during the pick-up process and upload them. In the future, if I decide to use U-Haul, I WILL NOT allow them to change my pick-up location. Virtual was terrible, with no real assistance. The virtual agent kept telling us to use the app.

I was overcharged

It took a couple of times going there to rent something. Then sat there for over a hour waiting for someone to check back in and when they did come at closing time they was trying to rush us out cause it was after closing and was hollering at us to move cause they were in a hurry. I was asking how much was charging my card all she could say was don't know. When I checked the bank they changed $5.00 to much.

The truck had roaches & all & still do

When we reserved the truck in Covington GA the location made a mistake and locked the keys in the office and I could not use the mobile app. I had to call and they changed to another location about 10 miles away. It took an extra 2 hours to just pick up the truck and be able to start moving. Once I was able to secure a truck with the mobile app the move went very smoothly.

Cargo van was not cleaned, previous driver had a dog, van stinked of dog and had pet hairs all over both seats. Dog bowl was left with dog hairs everywhere. Had to cover the seats with a garbage bag to operate vehicle. Could not roll windows up because the stench was so bad and had no choice to keep because I had to move over the weekend and reserved here by the time I picked up nothing else was available. Ended up having to take Benedryl because my sinuses became so inflamed I could not breathe properly

The previous customer had a dog. It’s dog hair all over the seats n around the floor on the passenger side around the chair. But no issues other than the dog hair.Thank you U-Haul I will be renting again very soon

The problem was trying to get the key out the box. Took about 14 minutes trying to get off. Other than that the service was great

The original pickup location called two hours before to say the equipment was not available. They did make arrangements for another location for pickup, but this added miles to the trip, which the dropoff location tried to charge for.
