The unit sliding door had an issue. The cable jumped the roller and I was unable to close the door. I called roadside assistance and they said they were sending a repair man. They sent a tow truck and were going to tow the trailer with all my things in it which makes no sense to me. I couldn't unload it and I couldn't drive it

I picked up the equipment at the above location and they were great, but the folks that I dealt with a mile down the road at Uhaul in Lake Wylie were extremely helpful, too. Lydia Roman and her assistant helped me pick out the right sized truck and offered boxes, straps, etc. that I declined. (Turns out, I did need boxes. Lots of them) They were great.

it would be awesome if you sold 2 more items there. If you sold just the pin that goes into the hitch ball attachment. Also if you sold the wiring hook up so i can plugh the brake wires from a trailer into my SUV.

The associates were very friendly and Professional. I walked the truck at 6pm for physical damage and came to pick it up later that same night. Check engine light was on. Loaded the truck in the early morning and when I got to my destination I viewed the rear tires. They were bald and dangerous. They should never had rented the truck. I have pictures.

There was a message on state and that the truck did it and oil change and then I was overcharged for mileage which I don't agree with and then the lady at the store never called me back after I left a message with the new employee I'm training.

I didn't even know this location had Husum rentals. It was clean and maintained and had the mandatory mask sign on the door. However, the sales representative didn't have a mask on during pick up or drop off. The pens were not sterilized either. It didn't make me feel safe at all.

I rented a furniture dolly with my truck and arranged contactless pickup and drop off. The furniture dolly was not given to me at pick up and was not in the truck. One realizing the latter at my start destination, I reached out to the Concord location via chat, email, and phone and no one answered to address my concern. I had to borrow a hand truck from a friend, which in turn caused damage to some of the bases of my furniture; the furniture dolly would have prevented this, which is why I ordered it. Upon drop off, I was sent a receipt and asked to reach out with any questions. I reached out directly regarding a necessary refund for the unprovided furniture dolly (there was certainly no delay in charging my card for fuel) and was never responded to. I'm really disappointed with the way this has been handled overall. I know, it's ten dollars. But it's more than ten dollars; it is poor customer service, customer negligence, and just wrong by principle.

The A/C was broken in the truck. The cab got extremely hot and it was already 90° outside. It was almost unbearable to drive the 2 hours to my destination. Very disappointed.

While the staff was very nice and helpful and the location was clean and nice, the equipment I received was old and looked very very beat up. The unit had a leak in the Mom's attic, due to what appeared to be poorly repaired corners. Had a road-side assistance team come out to try and patch the outside (as the unit was already partially loaded), however when unloading the truck multiple items in the mom's attic were soaking wet.

U-Haul employee allowed us to take the automotive trailer off the lot with the surge brake engaged. I asked the employee if the surge brake should be pushed down as directed on the pedal. The employee told us not to worry about it and that he wasn't even sure of what its use was. We believed him thinking that he would know more about the equipment than us but this resulted in a major issue down the road. I soon noticed large clouds of smoke coming from the 4 trailer tires and had to pull over. We waited in a random neighborhood for 2 hours waiting for a U-Haul service truck. At this point it was 1 am at night and decided to try and push the pedal down manually with my foot. Luckily this worked and we were able to keep driving. However due to this major inconvenience I do not think we should have to pay the full amount for this poor and dangerous service. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

I had difficulty pulling up my reservation, and when I finally got what I believed was my reservation, I was sent to a location over 20 miles out of my way. The man who handled my transaction was fantastic and very helpful.

I had a wonderful experience. The sales and service manager made my experience memorable. I first went to a location a mile away and they did not have a truck available. Chad and Lydia made sure they submitted a request for me and followed up. A truck became available within a mile away. I went there and picked up the truck. Chad went above and beyond to help me out.

I was charged for 76 miles when I only drove 31 miles. My apartment is only 10 miles from this location and my storage unit I dropped items off at is only 5.6 miles from this u-haul location. Don't know how this is possible, but I should not have been charged more $25 for the mileage charge.
