Jacqueline RThis virtual stuff has got to stop. I had to not only talk to a screen but then was told to download an app and do the return my self? What the heck? Or pay and additional $20??!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH UHAUL, from start to finish.
Kamryn BThe van we rented was dirty. It had mud and stray objects in the back when we picked it up. Also, the mobile app check-in process was a nightmare. I had to call U-Haul customer service for an e-alert that didn't involve me. Apparently, someone had used my phone number for their account and somehow had outstanding balances. It's not clear how someone can have outstanding balances when a valid credit card is required to rent. I spent an hour on the phone with an incompetent rep who could not remove the alert from my account despite telling me that it was clear the amounts did not belong to me. I had to cancel the reservation and remake it with my wife's phone number to finally get the van two hours after I had arrived to pick up the van. Technology is great when it works. The U-Haul app needs dramatic improvement. Reps need to be better trained to fix absurd situations. I've moved a lot over the last 30 years and I always go to U-Haul. Let's hope you can improve your app and customer service.
David EI had a bit of an issue with my online app as I was getting the van. The person inside was of no help. Your chat needs to be a bit more immediate. I waited a few minutes for a response. Frustrating as you think no one is there. Once the chat started it worked. Thank you.

UDAY SU-Haul had mold on the inside of the cab and the storage space had a leak in the front that poured water on my things. This created a poor moving experience and many of my moving boxes getting soaked.

Michael KWhen I make a reservation there, leave it there. And don’t try to relocate it to another location. It is very inconvenient for me. this is not the locations fault. It is U-Haul‘s fault for changing it at corporate.

Douglas NVery confused about the charges incurred, as the various receipts received do not make any sense, nor explain the charges and refundable deposit very well at all. Advertised as $19.95 per day, hired for 2 days and it turns out to be over $230 and with only around 100 miles driven??? Penske was much clearer and straightforward so I will go back to using them from now on.

Payam ECDW was added to my contract after I said I did not want it. My contract to sign was printed with about a 6 point font. It took over 20 minutes to go through the paperwork check out process even though the rental was done on line beforehand.

His service was just top notch, he went above and beyond from kindly guiding us to the find the entrance, to hooking the trailer to our car and helping us with the keys we didn't have, and the return. We will definitely return.

ed eStaff was very nice. The equipment was another story. It was a rainy day and we had no other option as our move was scheduled. The truck leaked from both front roof corners of course that wasn’t noticed until we drove the distance to our destination. The truck floor was covered in water, soaked boxes, moving blanket and furniture where affected. Really disappointed and frustrated.

Amanda TClean cab, put gas in truck, and don’t try to add a fill up fee to the posted gas price if one doesn’t return with gas. Your $3.35 /gal fee was really more like $12/gal when the fee was thrown in. That’s deceptive. Thankfully I realized what game was being played and put gas in truck but I didn’t like the deceptive business practices here.
NATHANIEL LMy issue is that they added an additional 31 miles to the odometer reading and over charged me. I had returned it after hours and trusted them to bill accurately. After I proved to the customer service person by photos that the mileage was billed incorrectly, they credited me back which was good. But I am now skeptical of using this location for future rentals,

Mike KThe location staff was excellent. Friendly and Professional. Their system had been struck by lightning and had no computers or internet, but it still got me checked in and on the road quickly. As for the equipment, whoever had the truck previously left a mess in the mother's attic area of the truck, and I spent the first 1/2 hour cleaning/sanitizing it so that I could utilize that area. The truck needs to be serviced; it ran very hard when empty and only 3/4 full. The key supplied for the lock on the back gate was not the correct key - after several tries, we bought our own lock. I overfilled the gas as the system used to report does not match.
Suzanne RI was overcharged for mileage. I was supposed to get the 50 cash back guaranteed rental. So, the last 2 rentals from U Haul have been suprise overcharges one for 1 gallon of fake gas of 44.00. So , do not be fooled into a 29.99 price its only a marketing ploy. Other companies give flat rates and no surprise outrageous gimmicks

STEVEN CWorst customer service experience of my life. Not from the vendor I finally secured the trailer but the nightmare until that point. The initial place where I scheduled to get the trailer was changed because U-Haul didn't show the trailer there... I was standing there looking at it. The new vendor never showed up to open the business so I was sent to Alpharetta... Twenty miles from home, where they didn't have the moving pads. I called U-Haul customer service for the fourth time to see if I could return the trailer to the vendor 2 miles from my house and was told no, that I was going to be charged $89 dollars twice, when the rental was $49, if I didn't bring it all the way back. The last customer service person who said there was nothing she could do for me, refused to give me her full name. Again, I have never given a bad review to any business but this was unexcusable. This is NOT an attack on the location, this is directed directly to U-Haul!!!!!
