You ambushed me. I reserved my truck for one location and you changed it to one 15 miles further away the day before pick up. I had to load your app, figure out how to handle the process remotely, send screen shots, open lock boxes, etc. All this was dumped on me 24 hours before pick up. I was stressed, upset, taken by surprise and frankly, very angry. No warning at time of reservation. No heads up.

Gas indicator was slightly off from what they said it should actually be, took a picture showing gas indicator light.. Light on indicator shows 3/4 in picture, they claim it was 13/16 but picture clearly shows different amount, & was still required to bring it back with more fuel than was in it when I picked it up.. I returned it at 7/8.. as indicator must be incorrect & next customer is responsible for discrepancy in fuel .. anot a happy customer when everything else was great..
Barbara ZThe truck I contracted for was not available the very day before pickup. I had to go to another location to obtain a truck. The self check in is ok but I felt I was doing the job of a Uhaul employee ( taking pics, etc).yes I know saving cost, right. Or, increasing profit for U-Haul.
Richard KApp didn’t work to check the truck back in. There wasn’t an “…orange U-Haul Dropbox’” for me to put the keys in so I had to put them in different lockbox they was for locks associated with the storage units.

Vincent FDifficult return process. No on site representative (reason for NO vote on personnel). App would not connect properly for return. Virtual assistant helpful, however site had no return key drop. Wasted a lot of time resolving return.

Scott MThe office was locked even though the return time was during the time it was supposed to be open. The phone number on the contract was out of service. Nobody answered the phone number on the door even though the sign indicated to call that number to get help.
Dale GShowed up at the drop-off location and it appeared to be closed even though the hours advertised said otherwise. I called the phone number listed, for the location and was told that they no longer rented or accepted trailers. Only trucks. I told him my paperwork and phone texts said to bring them there and if there is an internal problem, they should get it straightened out..... not me. He agreed and allowed me to drop my rental trailer off as scheduled.

Nicole MNate who is apparently the manager of the location is extremely rude and unprofessional in his communication with customers. I simply called to ask for an explanation of the unexpected charges, and he raised his voice and was very unprofessional. As a working professional myself I am appalled at how he spoke to me, as I know for a fact if anyone at our clinic spoke to a customer like that we would be fired immediately. I also inquired about the equipment I was given, as it did not look anything like what I had ordered online, which was a dolly. Instead I got some weird little cart that was of no use to us. He raised his voice again stating "you saw me put it in there". I in fact never saw anything of the sort. He repeated this twice, that "you saw me put it in there!" I told him that I did not appreciate how he was speaking to me, and asked for a manager. He then stated that he was the manager. Therefore I would like someone higher up to address this issue. I would like to be called back and notified of the outcome. 252-599-0269

DAVID WAlthough the group was friendly and actually reached out ahead of arrival, they failed to tell me that there would be an extra charge for turning in late in the day. They said the original store should have advised me. It was not clear and I could not really blame them but they could have said something when they called that morning. I was clear about the time I was returning and nothing was noted. Not the best communication but also likely the fault of the original store.

dave bPerson receiving the truck/trailer acted as if I was bothering him by being there. Was of no help unhooking the trailers and gave me an attitude for asking a basic question.
James CRepair the air conditioner on the truck I rented. When the air conditioner does not work the defrost/defog does not work properly. Driving the truck in the rain presented a safety hazard because I had to manually clear the moisture on inside of the windshield constantly to see.
