Did not have the truck I scheduled a month in advance. Gave me a small 10” truck and 5x8 trailer for a full house move 7 hours away costed me more money having to rent another trailer from someone else didn’t offer discount spent more money then I should have not impressed

Booked a 6x12 uhaul trailer for 2 days to be picked up in Dawson Creek on a Sunday. A day later a representative from uhaul called me to inform me that no uhaul trailer would be available that day in Dawson and to pick it up in Fort St. John instead. Told me a 2 inch ball is required. So far so good. Then on the Sunday I was supposed to pick up the trailer there is nobody to assist me. Then I tried to call uhaul to ask if someone will be there, at which point the representative told me that I was supposed to pick up the trailer the Saturday before. Very unprofessional to change someone's booking date without authorization and without informing me. After I tell her it was supposed to be on the Sunday, she put me on hold and then shortly after hung up on me (extremely rude). I call the number again and this time a different person picked up who informed me that my booking was canceled. What the fuck..... I have the email confirming the booking for the Sunday..... she was actually very helpful and asked me if I was comfortable hooking up the trailer by myself, after I told her yes I am, she rebooked the same trailer for me so I could drive away with it. She helped me step by step to send her photos of the trailer and my drivers license etc. After she made sure I was okay to proceed we ended the phone call. At this point I tried to hook up the trailer to my truck with the help of the youtube video the second representative sent me and found out the 2 inch ball is too big for this trailer and that is should be an 1 7/8" ball instead. After all this trouble I still couldn't use the trailer as I was informed of the wrong equipment. I tried calling back several times but nobody ever picked up anymore. Got charged the full price and got nothing to show for. Unreal

ALI MWe ran for 5 km approximately in total, but forgot to top up the fuel while returning and got charged over 20$. Beside that... Everything was great.

Ciara MI showed up 2days early in a snowstorm. Staff were very accommodating. Just as the pickup was, the drop off experience was just as seamless even though I showed up unexpectedly.

Sheldon LI had a great positive experience with this U-Haul location in Fort St John and would highly recommend using their vehicle to move your 'stuff'.
DAVID BThe employee was great and did what they could to assist, given the absolutely terrible situation U-Haul put us in by not only not having our rental available at our location but required we travel 9 hours, in total, to pick up the vehicle from Fort Saint John at our expense. In addition to not having the vehicle available, the vehicle was not equipped to legally travel on the Alaska Hwy. It had summer tires and no chains. When I called UHaul about the tire issue they advised it was customer responsibility to outfit the vehicle with proper equipment (chains WOULD NOT be provided).

Randy NI’m picked up trailor rental at the fort St. John location, midtown storage. The lady who was working at this location needs a huge bonus or a raise. She has the office full of plants making it so inviting, especially with her amazing personality. It was neat , tidy very inviting. Not to mention when I came back to return she was out weeding along the fence line. I have never seen any other uhaul facilities do any of this. I move a lot since I work in pipeline construction and use uhaul trailors a lot. From Edmonton, to edson, ect. Someone needs to give this lady credit for all the hard work she puts into her job.

Anna BWow, the lady in that office is a ROCK STAR - GRACE UNDER PRESSURE! ALL of UHauls computer system went down (Can/US/Mex), she had a line up of people, didn’t break a sweat, just managed everyone unphased - IMPRESSIVE. SHOUT OUT TO Madeline in Florida call Center as well she was quick to pick up on an over charge error.

robert dThe lady working there was very nice and helpful the only reason I’m giving a shit review is because I booked a 26 ft truck well over a month prior for an in town move in dawson creek . The day before the move U-Haul calls and tells me they don’t have one in town and I have to go to fort St. John . So I go to the first location they sent me too and they don’t have one either . Ended up at mid town mini storage and all they had was a 10 ft truck and trailer and they wanted it returned to that location . I dropped it off in dawson creek because that’s where my ORIGINAL U-Haul was booked . Made a 1 trip move into 3 and half separate trips and I simply do not have the time to cater to uhauls needs when they can’t even honor their own reservations. Again nothing against mid town but uhaul can fuck off for the serious time consuming inconvenience.
Jessy HGot charged a cleaning fee when I cleaned the uhaul, said she had pictures for proof but when I asked to see the pictures she said she didn’t have the picture.

My only concern was that I did the booking online and it was "confirmed", but then was told when I called in afterwards that there was not a guarantee that I would have what I ordered...that caused some stress as I thought when it said "confirmed" online, that meant it was a "done deal".
