I reserved this truck for pickup at a u-haul storefront and was told the day before pickup that my truck was at a deli instead. It was bad enough that this sent me out of my way on a day where time was of the essence, but to make matters worse, the deli was closed! I was forced to do online check-in on my app, a thing I could have done ahead of time if I knew a screw-up like this was even a possibility. All “neighborhood dealers” should have their hours verified by u-haul at the absolute least, by a phone call or even a simple google search. I hate to think of what somebody less tech-savvy than me would’ve done in this situation. U-haul lost a customer today.
