Communication was poor from the start, the language barrier is definitely a factor. The truck was covered in hard snow at the back the taillights were covered and when we shoveled it off it was so hard we had to use our garden shovel. There was garbage left from previous users in the back as well. Overall poor experience due to communication and tidiness/readiness of the vehicle. Also I don’t understand why U-Haul wouldn’t require a full tank on pick up and return, most people are probably driving a fair distance, which makes it a hassle in the middle of a move to put gas in the tank and guessing how much you need for 1/4 tank, I don’t know that’s my opinion though, didn’t affect the experience I was just annoyed at that.

When I got to this location the truck had 2 feet of hard packed snow and ice covering the cab. The operator of this facility just gave me a broom and the keys. Left me to clean it off myself. It was also parked with a huge snow drift I had to back through. This was a process to get out. Not a great experience at all.
JEFFREY RIt took us 40 min to clean the truck off, and to get pulled out of the snow. You think out of courtesy, the truck would have been ready for us for pick up. It was an unbelievable experience. Apparently Uhaul sub contracts out and the subcontractors don't have to have vehicles ready. Ok so who does a safety check prior???? This happened in Mildmay.

WAYNE Rno everything worked smoothly - the only comment is that the truck shifted very roughly - my partner who was driving is an AZ truck driver so he is very familiar with trucks shifting so he noticed it but I am just a regular car driving but I also noticed it - might want to have it checked

MARTHA RLocation and vehicle were easy to find. I picked up after hours and the phone assistance was excellent when I had questions or problems. I got lucky and caught the manager when I dropped off as the location is actually closed for renovations. He was very pleasant and helpful in closing my contract and printing my receipt.

OSCAR AMy thoughts are why do you charge me $5.00 more for mileage when I’m already paying $00.99 a kilometre. This is fraud and should be reported. The same guy tried to tell me I brought the vehicle back with less fuel until I showed him my photograph prior to leaving. I don’t understand why you don’t have a u haul in Hanover with a population of 7,800. Due to the fraudulent way of making money off people I will definitely reconsider using another rental company in the future. People are fed up of being nickel and dimed. Not a very happy customer here.
JOHN DFirst. We arranged to pick up in mount forest. On the way we were informed to pick up in a much farther distance away. We did that then was charged for the full milage after disputing the extra charges I was still charged. My bill increased by 40% which was maddening. I also, after a phone call, waited an hour before anyone was there to serve me. So the one hour to wait and 30 minutes of travel each way back to my business ruined my mornings work. U haul will have to fix this before I consider them again. You’re getting a phone call today!

NATHAN CI was disappointed that there was no adaptive cruise control. I am a tall customer and the seat did not go back far enough to give me proper legroom even thogj with the seat back up there was 2" to the back wall. Electric mirrors would go a long way as I found the mirrors very difficult to adjust.. A digital dash that changed between moles and km would be more convenient especially if it was set before the rental took place.
ANDREW MThe location was fine. The truck was in rough shape. We lost two hours of rental time because the truck would not go in reverse. The shifter handle was messed up. ALSO the brakes we SO bad in this truck. As a result of the the issue's, I did not get my move completed and did not want to pay for another day. I called U haul but they would not do anything help.
