Terrible, terrible customer service. When I arrived, the uHaul agent was assisting another customer who was looking to purchase auto accessories. The agent neither greeted me nor acknowledged me, even though I had walked near him and the customer. After several minutes, I realized that he was going to be a while with the customer. Thus I returned to my car for about 10 minutes, so as to not hover over the agent and the customer. I returned. I waited patiently for another 2 - 3 minutes. The uHaul agent knows that I am standing there. Still no acknowledgement or greeting. I finally, said, "Excuse me, I'm just here for a uHaul pick-up." The agent says very abruptly, "OK. . . and I'll be with you when I'm finished!", and returned to helping the customer. I waited another minute or so, and said "I'm not trying to be rude, but I have a scheduled 11 o'clock pick-up. It's after 11, and I am on a very tight schedule." At that point, he went behind the desk and pulled up my reservation. He did, at that point, get me checked-in and finish the process so that I could get the keys. However, there was no "thank you". No apology for the wait. When I thanked him, there was no "you're welcome." Just the bare minimum of exchange necessary to process the rental. I was in dire need of the truck that day. Otherwise, I would have cancelled the reservation on the spot. At no point during this experience did I feel welcomed or appreciated as a customer. While waiting for the agent to finish the paperwork, I ended up chatting with the customer. He happened to be a very, very nice older gentlemen. He was purchasing accessories for his new truck. For what it's worth, the agent and the customer were both white men. I am a 40-something African American woman. There was, for whatever reason, obvious disdain from the moment I walked through the door. I will never, ever rent from this location again, nor will I ever recommend it. On a good note, the truck was clean, and being able to return the truck via phone app was great.Karis D.

Everything I reserved was NOT available and I was not notified until I picked up the truck. The furniture 20 pads and dolly were not available . I had to waste time trying to find furniture pads at other Locations and could only find 6. I reserved everything 30 days out for a big move. Very disappointed.Ryan M.

Very disatisfied. You receive a confirmation of your reservation but apparently now days they call you prior to confirm the reservation that you already received in a email, and if they don't call you it's not really confirmed and then when you go to pick up the truck they don't have one and you have to hope and pray another U-Haul dealer has what your looking for and you go out of your way ( miles and gas and time) to pick up a truck. Then your promised a 20.00 gift card which they say they are sending to your email that you never receive. I have used U-Haul many many times through out the years and this is what it has come to.Nancy P.

I reserved this truck on June 14, 2022, to be picked up on June 25, 2022. This reservation included a hand truck and a furniture dolly. The hand truck was found in the truck. However, there was no furniture dolly. The man I spoke to suggested I buy one. I only needed it to move one piece of furniture. Buying one would have been ridiculous.Kenneth W.

Truck I received while it worked, I believe it needed an alignment as when I got onto the interstate it shook horribly if when I got over 60mph. The After hours checkin site kept failing until I finally just had to drop the keys off in the dropoff box rather than going through the checkin.Nathaniel W.

I reserved an appliance dolly and none was provided. Only a utility dolly was in the truck at pickup. I did not receive my $50 refund for failure to meet reserved equipment needs under the reservation guarantee.Calvin V.

The app did not work for checking the vehicle back in. I took over ten photos of the dash mileage / gas gauge before giving up. I'd try to upload them, and the app didn't register it. I'm not sure if it's because the app couldn't recognize the mileage but the space to take a dash photo on those trucks is so tight, and your photo app doesn't allow zooming or switching to a different camera lens like my phones app.Thomas J.

When I rented the 6x12 trailer on Saturday , they charged me $120 for a deposit fee! They informed me that the deposit would be returned to my account first thing Monday morning. On Monday my money wasn't returned so I called and the clerk rudely told me she couldn't help me and for me to call 1800gouhaulâ€¦ I called that number and the recording stated that they can hold my money for up to FIVE days! I'm a single parent and now I don't have grocery money until uhaul release MY moneyDANNY M.
