We rented a car hauler and when we drove it up we could not open any of the doors. The tire wheel bases where too high. Thanks goodness we had a skinny guy that was able to climb out the window. Then we were not able to roll the window up, so when had to cover it with plastic and tape. Very unhappy with that part. I even told them what kind of care we were hauling when I made the reservation. .

Put trailers on blocks of some kind to make it easier to hook on to truck. Other than that, this place is the place you should go !!! Fast, easy, good pricing , friendly, hard working, and convenient to interstate.

The tiedown rails in the trailer were two different styles. One, which I believe may have been original installation, was difficult to use. It has very small holes for ropes and I could not hook my straps to it. The other rail appeared to be newer and was much easier to hook up straps and ropes. It's a small thing but the newer rails made the trailer easier to use.

The truck wasnt at the location for the scheduled pickup time. The staff was disorganized and had to scramble to find it and get it to the store. Asked me to sweep out the truck but gave it to me with trash and crushed candy in the cab.

It would be helpful if this location told me BEFORE I went to pick up that U-Haul that I had to return it there and not AFTER I was already there picking it up.

We rented on Feb 24 from another dealer and returned it to the dealer listed above. I found no office, no drop box, had to park the vehicle facing a building that left 3 inches of room from the bumper to the road, there was another 3 trucks and a few trailers there as well.. Called the main U-Haul office so they could make notations of this incident and to check the truck in, had to lock the keys in the truck under the seat. Today i got an email saying it was checked in today and was charged with 7 days, we rented for one day and turned it in on time on the Feb 25. Called the main U-Haul customer service and this lady was great and hopefully got the problem in hand and hope the money is refunded from this crook that does not check on the equipment at this location. Took him a week to check it in. That is crazy and it has made a sour note in my mind. Also when we checked the truck out we were not explained the difference between local and one way rentals so we were charged with extra mileage on this vehicle, another bad taste. I think the main office needs to check each location and make sure they are up to standards.

I was charged extra fees, and had to return to the store to get a refund. The rental guys computer is outdated and he had issues with getting the rental done. I was aggravated when I was over charged and it made my bank account over draft. I think uhaul should pay my over draft fees!!!!!!

The truck rental was a smooth and easy experience. The movers however were a nightmare.

Given that our original reservation was in Prairieville and we had to drive to Livingston, I would not recommend this location to anyone trying to reserve a UHaul in Prairieville because it's 30 minutes out of the way.

I made my reservation for a 5x8 trailer 11 days in advance. At the time I reserved it, I had to pick up the trailer 30 miles from where I made my reservation. I was told that that the trailer may have to be picked up at another location, but was never told it was from a site 30 miles from where I was at. I could understand this if the reservation was made only a couple of days before I needed it, but it seems that a closer site could have bees made possible since I reserved it 11 days in advance.

Reserve U-Haul online didn't have the equipment local even though I have a U-haul center in my town. It moved my reservation and I had to drive 30 minutes to get it. Didn't know to the day I needed it. Other than that no problems.

We loaded and unloaded on concrete, I do not understand why I was charged for the dusty footprints in the back. When I called to ask he was rude and very mean about it. He didn't even check the truck until today because I was called and asked if I needed another day with my Uhaul. I told her that I had returned it on Friday night which she sounded surprised and told me that she'd call him and remind him to finish it up. So it's been sitting there since Friday Night. Based on this experience, the chances of me using Uhaul for any other moves my family or I have to do is very slim. I was disgusted with the lack of professionalism I have encountered throughout this entire experience.

The truck had a tear in the roof of the container box. I was not made aware that the truck was damaged before it was rented to me. The items I was transporting got wet during the move. I spent 3 days worrying that I would be held responsibe for the damage even though I knew that I DID NOT cause the damage to the truck. After returning home a met with the agent who rented me the truck and I explained the situation and my concern that I would be held responsible for the damage. His response was "oh yeah, I knew the truck had a hole in the roof". No apology, no concern that my belongings got wet in the move. I do not accept nor understand such incompetence from a nationally known company. Very unprofessional and unacceptable customer service.

The outside of the truck was dirty, like it had not been washed in awhile. My husband and son washed it. As we went to the car wash anyway. We had mud to wash off the truck too.
