We were contacted the day before that our preferred location did not have a truck we rented. We were transferred to this location. We reserved an appliance dolly and it was confirmed. When we arrived they did not have one available. This was not a convenience request, we needed it to move a 600lb safe. We were also told that nobody had one in the area. After calling a location close by we had one provided to us. When we arrived at the other location (corner of Western Blvd) we picked up the dolly and noticed that they have SEVERAL trucks available. The employee even asked us if we wanted to rent the truck there and unfortunately we had already picked up at the other location. I am not sure WHY uhaul didn't switch is to the location that had the dolly AND truck! It was also closer to the original reservation location. In addition, instead of the dolly provided at pick up, we were told that moving blankets were included. I was so frustrated I assumed they were given in replacement of the hassle of not providing the dolly. We did not request blankets and I noticed later that we were charged for them when we did not request them. The whole situation was a big hassle.

When I received the cost for a car trailer and had to go 7 miles to another location to get it. The cost went up about 50 dollars. I think next time I'll check around.

It was not at the location I was guaranteed from the website. I was only offered a $.10 per mile compensation for the difficulty big whoop. I saved $1.50. I’ve always thought UHaul was a reputable company; however, this was not a good experience when Lowe’s messed up my order they gave me $350. I will strongly avoid U-Haul in the future.

DAPHNE HThere were a pair of yellow gloves in the glove box, under that was a bottle of unidentified pills. I threw them away as to not get in trouble if stopped or checked at Gate to Camp Lejeune. Need to check vehicles more thoroughly.

GEORGE WUhaul experience was great no issues what so ever. The customer service was above and beyond the norm. I would refer a friend for the Uhaul rental ONLY! The storage side is a whole nother story. The owner sells the business and the new owner increase the rent $35 the 1st month he/she takes over.... that move will come back and bite you! My things will be out,and you will not get the increase from me.
