The U-Haul system wasn’t working properly and took me almost an hour to get the truck then after I got the vehicle noticed the mirror on the drivers side of the van had got broken off at some point then when I returned the vehicle I was charged the amount quoted and then three day later get another receipt saying I now owe another 30 dollars more. Why was I not charged the amount quoted or at least told when I returned the vehicle that there was more owing due to something within my quote rather then notified by email saying there’s extra money owed?

The lady that was behind the counter that helped me was excellent. Very nice to work with. Unfortunately the truck was dirty, and smelled like cigarettes and was not cleaned out. There was empty bottles and cigarette butts and I could not see out the windows or the mirrors so I had to clean them before driving away. The staff were great, but the equipment was not very nice at all, unfortunately.

When I arrived, they didn’t seem to know what they were doing and the check in process took a very long time. I checked off that the truck was clean but upon further investigation, it was not. All the cup holders and cubbies were filled with crumbs and drips. It was pretty gross. The truck did seem to work fine even though we couldn’t move the side mirrors at all which made the driving experience feel a little unsafe. Overall, it wasn’t my greatest experience with U-Haul
