Mikel CAll I can say is. What a mess!! He was in a big hurry to leave because he had to pick up his kid. Handed me the key and said it’s parked along the road somewhere and this is the number you are looking for. First place I had to go was the gas station to put fuel in it and clean the windows so I could see.

GLENNOLIA RWas at night. Side street. Didn’t speak with anyone. Took photos and dropped key in box. Key got hung up in drop box and my hand almost got stuck trying to tap the key backwards in the drop box. Questions are not relevant since I don’t speak with anyone
JEFFERY MWe rented the moving quilts and when we got there the man said they didn’t have any and we still paid and he said he could refund. The truck barley had fuel and we had to put 15 dollars of gas in.
Nina PSigns with parking spots would help locate the truck and return it to the correct spot.
Molly DA little confusing picking up the truck, the call center made it seem like there would be a person handling things. Overall, nice truck, super convenient location [will be renting again to move heavy furniture between buildings, three blocks away], thank you!!
JEFFREY EStaff was not present to give us the keys at specified pick up time. Once they showed up 30 minutes later they asked for my credit card information over the phone even though I had already paid. I refused and they said I can go somewhere else. Shortly after that, they gave us the keys and we went on our way. Not a great experience...
Jacob HI found the app challenging to use. Pick-up and drop-off were smooth. I found the app challenging to use, though. It was having trouble processing photos, which held up the check-in process on the app. The person at the rental location who helped me with the key was responsive, answered my questions, and friendly.
Elizabeth KLocation was terrible. Place looked like it should be condemned. Also truck had no gas in it. 20 miles to empty. Truck was in great condition and very clean.
Brett VIt was a little confusing to find the right place (the office is on one side of the building, and the trailer was in the parking lot on the other side). The person (Ron) got me connected to the right CS rep over the phone to dispatch the trailer and process payment. It took a bit longer than I expected, but we got it done and I was on my way.
DANIEL HThere was issues with adding authorized drivers and picking up the rental. The Uhaul location was closed even though hours indicated that it’d be open when we arrived. For sure something needs to be fixed with the app. Also, I never received a receipt
HUNG MThe gas wasn’t filled up all the way, the U-Haul needed to be swept out because there was a lot of dirt and debris in the back. I was told that the six blankets were not available and that I would need to go to a separate location to pick them up. The worker directed me to the location on 36th where the workers there told me that they couldn’t look up the contract at their location. So I couldn’t get the blankets I needed. When I picked up the U-Haul the worker handed me the keys and pointed me to a U-Haul at the end of the block. It was not very friendly or informative. I would never use this location again.
Sarah lThe staff were very nice and responsive. But, the truck had a broken passenger side mirror that I did not discover until I had already submitted the damage report. It also had 1/16 of gas!
ANDREA LThe truck was clean and the staff were friendly. However, the gas gauge in the truck didn't work, so I thought we were starting on empty and had to immediately go and get some gas. Also, I reserved the truck with 6 moving blankets, and I was charged for them, but the site had no blankets to give me. Other than that, peaches!
BRIAN KTruck was very rusty, hard to open the gate. Storefront was an open road with an unmarked door. Will not rent from here again.
DANIEL SThe place looked closed. Sketchy. They had a truck for me, but I had to ask other businesses to move vehicles because it was sandwiched in a parking lock to the point I couldn’t get it out. But that’s insignificant to the fact that they didn’t have any of the dolly’s or blankets I ordered, nor did they seem to care. They suggested I drive a 27’ UHaul to neighboring cities to try to find them, while I have eight movers waiting at my house to load this truck for a move across the US. A phone call a day or two in advance would’ve been a little better.
TODD SThis location has horrible customer service. This was my second time picking up on 2nd street. When I booked a uhaul this time around I intentionally booked to pick up in new Brighton to avoid this one and my reservation was changed last minute. Horrible costumer service. And you walk around the block to get to your truck. It was raining when I dropped off and the office was locked at 3:45 in the afternoon no one was around for me to talk to about my concerns.

The manager called us almost an hour later and made us come back to exchange for a different truck as the one we were initially given “absolutely could not” leave the Minneapolis area. This was a major inconvenience as we had to go back after starting our moving process and was incredibly frustrating.

KEWANA HUhaul scheduled a pickup here for 7am in person. This location doesn’t open until 9am, we had to change this order to a mobile pickup.
Brady MThe truck was filthy and extremely scratched up. The mobile check in experience was slow and didn’t provide anywhere to document damage, odometer or fuel gauge reading. This was the worst uhaul experience I’ve had.

ALEXUS PTruck had been spray painted. They also charged me for a service i didn’t request and only refunded half of my money which is terrible I’ll never use uhaul again.
NAKRUMAH YThe staff at the location was very helpful and the equipment was very clean and well maintained, however the experience of using the app for the mobile pickup was abysmal and I ran into multiple technical issues throughout the process. Luckily, the staff was able to help me after a significant delay.
Jacob JI got scammed. Very disappointed: Before returning I refueled the truck to above the level it was when I got it. It was near quarter tank, I put in near half tank of gas. Yet I was still charged a refueling service and fuel fees! Also, I brought back the truck before midnight but by the time I got to the drop key drop off box, which is on the other side of a very long block, and read and follow the return procedure, it was a few minutes past midnight. I ended up being charged for two rental periods when I had it for just one. On their website, as you go through the procedures before you put the key to the truck in the drop off box, there is an option to disagree or question some of the fees and give them an explanation. However, if you select it, you’re not able to finish the procedure and complete the return. End up paying whatever they say.

MICHELLE BThis location did not feel safe or welcoming. There was little to no "U-Haul" branding or signs so it was very difficult to find the door. The attendant was hard to find as well, and was clearly occupied with other things. I requested to pick up my trailer at a facility near to my house, but was moved to this location which was 20 minutes in the wrong direction. Next time I would like to pick up my equipment at the requested location. This location needs more staff and clear signage and direction.

GWENDOLYN JOrder wasn't ready at pickup. Was told they didn't have the equipment and to go somewhere else. I had to work with uhal and wait for the site manager to release he did have some if the equipment. Truck was full of broken glass and debris. Worst uhaul experience I've had.
SPENCER WThis has been a horrific moving experience. We originally rented a truck at the Plymouth, MN location, but Uhaul didn't have a truck available there so sent us to this Minneapolis shop. The area was extremely run down and we had to wait several minutes for the attendant to show up. They didn't have the dolly and blankets we requested on our order, the truck we received had over 85000 miles and the steering wheel was poorly aligned. Driving the truck to our office was not pleasant. Once we loaded everything up and started our journey back to Indianapolis is when the true horror began. As we approached Wisconsin Dells, I heard a loud crack, the steering wheel started to lock up, the ABS light came on, and the truck began to lurch. Fortunately I was able to control it just enough and pull off the Interstate into a business parking lot. When we got out we noticed smoke on the driver front wheel, along with black grease and serious canting of that tire as well as the passenger front. We called into the emergency line and started working through that process. This was a relatively smooth process early on, but as it progressed it became difficult managing the SMS conversation as some messages would come in that didn't appear to be directed at us. And some replies we provided were not responded to. There were also some automated messages mixed in which made things confusing. The worse part was when they tried charging us $850 for the laborers to move loads between our truck and the replacement they were lining up. I argued with our representative how absolutely absurd this was, pointing out we had purchased their safe move insurance. Shortly after they told us to disregard the earlier message regarding the charge. Everything went relatively smoothly after this, both the tow truck driver and movers were excellent. The new truck we were provided only had a few thousand miles and had no issues getting us home. Overall this has been a horrific experience for both me and my coworker. Our families were both horrified and worried for us the entire remainder of the trip. We lost five hours due to this incident, which affected a number of plans for both us and other coworkers. We will likely not use Uhaul in the future as this experience poses serious concerns regarding their safety and inspection processes for their vehicles. In the back of our head we both wonder how much worse this would have been if that wheel would have completely broken off.

Brigette GAccept cash app card. I almost had to get a refund and have no where to put my stuff because my debit card wasn’t good enough. Pretty silly considering it’s American tender.
