The staff was very friendly, and the check-out was quick. The trailer had electrical issues, no running lights. Fortunately, I only had to drive in the daytime. The trailer was filthy, smelled of hay and manure. Had to pick it up a day early and leave work to do so. I would have returned it and picked up a new one if it weren't for the holiday.

The truck was dirty inside the cabin and the box. The loading ramp was covered in glass. The cab smelled like smoke. The truck barely had any fuel on pickup. It also had a bad vibration in the front end. It doesn't seem like it was inspected at all.

Once I got a truck it was clean..ran like a champ.. Not know the steps to return the truck.. I filled up the truck and returned the keys without watching the return video.. I returned the truck and was called not knowing the truck was returned hours ago.. but hey.. It was my first time.. I know better next time...and will use the 24/7 app again...

Isaac MI was told over the phone to pick up my truck at one location, when I got there they said it was at another location. I was on a time schedule, my help only had a little window on their lunch hour. When I got to the other location, no one was there. I called the other location and they were no help, told me to pound on the door but no one came to the door. I then called a gentleman that called me the day before and said if I needed help with anything to let him know. He was great helped me get the truck, however by that time my helpers were not able to help, so it was me at 66 and my husband at 76 years old moving and loading the truck. Moving is stressful enough, in the past U-Haul has always been great, I will never use them again to my dismay. Very disappointing!!
CAROL CReceive a clean vehicle inside is preferred, and grateful 1-800-GO-U-HAUL was able to provide me a vehicle after the email specified a different vehicle that was not present. Everything always works out in my favor, and I am grateful for U-Haul either way.
Kendall Atruck was dirty inside the back. There was no moving blankets or anything in the back as we've experienced in the past when renting a U-Haul, The cab was dirty as well.
Paul RThe truck was leaking Gasoline the entire time it was in use. I noticed from get to that after the truck had ran the smell of gas was potent as you stepped out. I didn't think to look under the truck at the gas tank untill the smell was coming into the cockpit. Once I looked at the gas tank It was obvious that a slimy substance like JB weld smoothered over a 12"x 12" area of the gas tank. The gas had started to eat through the jb weld and was a constant drip into the ground. I spent an ungodly amount in fuel and demand some sort of compensation!

Joseph RI intended to have a 10 day rental. I am currently without a moving solution because returning the van felt like the better option than using it for hauling the various items I need to haul. It was dirty. It smelt bad and while I cannot prove it, I am of the impression someone had been living in it recently. I drove 10 miles total and was charged $71… I’d like a refund. I’ve had plenty of good uhaul experiences this alone won’t deter me… but what this location tried to pass off as an acceptable work van (whether they were aware of it - or it happened by mistake), it does not align to my perception of acceptable or what I would believe Uhaul would list as acceptable.

Christopher MA phone call to explain that there is nobody to help you would be nice. They can also make sure the truck is clean and has MORE than a 1/8 of a tank of gas. It was in E and I was moving to Denver, so I put a full tank and.it cost $120z I NEED some type of refund.
