Costomer service Needs improvement
ROSARIO TThe crew at Mission Bay was quick and efficient even with a growing line first thing in the morning.
David RA- they charged me a 25.00 clean up fee, it was not dirty They say their was 3/8 of a tank of gas there was less, they say I returned it with a 1/4 tank, it was over a quarter of a tank They told me there was moving blankets in truck there were no moving blankets, they ripped me off, never using them again

MATEO HI had a confirmed reservation. The equipment was not available. They offered me a larger vehicle at a higher price. I believe the mistake was made y the company, I had to pay for it.

SANDRO CWindows were dirty and forcing people to take insurance isn’t good. I have insurance. The truck didn’t come full of gas which we had come to expect.
LYNN KI needed a ramp but the truck I rented didn’t have one. I didn’t see anywhere in the description online where it informed me if that. It would be nice if that was part of the description

LEE EI’ll get the truck almost empty tank. I wasn’t sure how long I was gonna use it. I filled up the gas tank, but I’ll return it quarter tank full and I didn’t get any credit about the gas., I even mentioned the workers in the office.

YOU DONT MISTREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE THAT IT LEFT A BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH. THIS LADY IS ABOUT TO GO VIRAL ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA BECAUSE OF HER NASTY BEHAVIOR. JORGE SI reserved 12 blankets, but they only had six when I came to pick it up. This is not reliable and people need reliability when they are moving.

GENE DI ordered a furniture dolly to help the move. It was not in the vehicle when picked it up, and I was told later that it was out of stock. I think that an email or message in advance telling me that the dolly was not available would have been appropriate. I got many texts and emails, so maybe just one more would have saved me some time and effort

PAUL DThe location was very nice. The truck was quite high mileage with very loose front end. It also did not shift very easily manually, and one time popped out of Park and into reverse. when I arrived at the location at 9 AM Saturday morning the gate was locked and I could not get to the office because I could not get in the gate. I had to wait for a tenant of the storage facility to come through, and I walked in with them. No problem getting the truck once I got inside in the office opened up a little late. I returned the truck by 3:30 PM Saturday. The person in the office was a bit frazzled and told me that my receipt would be emailed later that day. Sunday morning at 7:30 AM I get woken up by someone at the facility asking when we were going to return the truck. Told them it was in the parking lot and I had given the keys to the office manager the day before. I heard frantic searching through the countertops and desk and then silence so I hung up. I got a text right after that apologizing and saying that they found the keys. The office manager called and apologized later that day. I did get an email receipt after that. overall, very nice location, mediocre truck, and nice but disorganized staff. My advice is don’t leave without your receipt. I’ve never done it in the past and I will never do it in the future, unless dropping off with the app after hours.

STANLEY SI only use this U-Haul because of the excellent service and friendly, helpful staff. They are always trying to accommodate my needs when I just show up sometimes unannounced. Great staff and team.
TIMOTHY MAn Employee, PAULA, is the reason this location received 5 stars, otherwise, what went 'wrong' would have been remembered over what Paula did right. We chose the self serve so we could get the U Haul early, before they opened. Once we arrived, we could not enter the property- we called the number provided, the customer service rep said, at this point, there was nothing he could do, we would have to wait. Boy did that throw a wrench in our moving plans as we had a crew coming to our home to help load. The message must have also been sent to the employee, Paula, also. She arrived at the property and assisted us with getting in. She wasn't actually able 'to do it for us' because she said she was warned that she would get FIRED if she assisted customers before hours- How PITIFUL is that? But she guided us enough to get us in and on our way. If it wasn't for Paula, this location would have rec'd a 1 STAR rating. Here's another thing Paula did - we left our Prada sunglasses in the cab of the truck, she called us to let us know and held them until we could return. WOW. NOTE TO OWNER: You have a 5 STAR employee there! Don't punish her for good deeds, reward her! Make sure she knows you value her and her kindness does not go un-noticed. Note to Paula- We see YOU! You were the welcoming smile and HELP that we needed during a high stress move. Don't know what we would have done without you.
