The back door was very hard to open and close took 2 people to pull it open and had use all my weight to close it , I sprayed some wd40 on the hinges , still hard to open and close, got the done.Romel S.
There were questions repeated from the online reservation and the in-person check-in. This suggests the process isn't completely seamless yet, between online and in-person. My original location could not provide me the rental as the on line reservation system screwed up my reservation and the lady at the store could not figure things out. I was sent to a second location where the person was not knowledgeable to process my reservation. So after an hour and a half of struggling to get a rental truck, I was sent to this and final location where they were able to process and provide me a truck. Overall my UHaul experience was VERY poor.VAHE M.
U-haul online booking needs work. I booked and confirmed my booking online in ajax when I got there they didnt have a truck for me and told me the online reservation messed up.I had to go 20km out of my way to get a truck. Long time before we had access to the truck to leave. Pick up was 10, didn't leave until 1045 and this was with prebooking. In addition, we did not receive our deposit back. Told the system was down. We have since received a check, but will take 4 to 6 weeks to deposit. In addition the details are not correct on it.Thanushian J.

The inside cab was absolutely filthy with leftover masks from the last customer hanging off of the steering wheel. It's still COVID times and uhaul should still be more mindful of this.Larry M.
Vehicle broke down and I asked if I could use the vehicle for longer cause of the inconvenience and I was hun up on and charged extra for the over night (which I delivered 30 min late). Also , I used 20 KM and was charged 30 dollars for fuel . they are saying it was 5/8th but it was on half. have the picture and time stamp to prove itArnold F.

As a large company in business as many years as u-haul u would think a customer would be more important to u but after a 5 hour wait and almost having a heart attack trying to get a truck that was already on reserve internet was down u would think u could of just took a picture of a driver's license and a picture of the person face to match and a deposit in cash and give the key..but what you guys pulled was nasty I am still not good from what it did to me waiting and fighting with your nasty team of representatives. Clearly something needs to be done to make this a better and easier experienceMildred S.
The passenger side mirror points upward, so it cannot see ANY traffic! The cabin of the truck is not very clean. The reservation system is terrible! I booked the truck more than one month ago for a location only 5 minutes city drive from home, but I was informed that truck available is about 1.5 hours away with highway traffic! I spent hours and hours to call the customer supports, but the lined kept dropping! Finally I could get hold of a support about 10:30 pm who found a truck still over an hour highway traffic! The truck needed cleaning on the inside and in the box. I also encountered mechanical difficulties, and did not get to complete my move. Roadside assistance was called, but they took almost 4 hours to arrive on the scene. This is not the fault of the rental location, but U-Haul needs to do some thing about the reliability of this particular truck.MILTONS R.

Ensure that the inside of the truck has no other persons belongings. Ensure that the back of the truck is empty of a piece of wood, broken hanger, there is a dolley and blankets as UHAUL says that there is. The process of the check in and check out was easy and staff very friendly.Velda M.

There was no windshield wiper fluid. I had to get off the highway and buy some to continue my trip. Renter should check the fluid levels.William P.

My reservation was booked 3 weeks in advance for the Oshawa location and I was called the day before informing me I had to go out of my way and pickup in Scarborough instead. Got to the location and was not provided with the mattress cover I ordered and paid for upfront during booking. Was told I would have to buy it from her because the money I paid for the other one was income for the Oshawa store. Therefore, I did not get what I paid for and never got a cover that was already paid at booking. There were 2 trucks outside (one behind the other) and I was given keys to the truck in front rather than at the back so we had to manipulate the truck to get around the other when backing up.JULIEMARIE W.

They charged me extra for no reason (Gas). When I called them over phone no answer. When I showed the proof to uhaul customer support they sent me the refund for the gas. I never experienced this in uhaul before. In short about this location â€œcrooks and fraudâ€. Never know how many of them impacted.DOWIN D.

I rented a van and I completely understand that people rent these vehicles for a variety of reasons but when i got on this van I was overcome but the strong scent of manure, I brought it to the attention of the vendor who rented me the vehicle and he said he would charge the previous renter a clean up fee yet he did absolutely nothing to compensate or correct the issue with meRANDYP C.
I wasn't Satisfied with the vehicle condition. As I got in, there was a warning sensor in the van Saying right rear door open. I thought it was just a open door, I got out to close it and it kept on displaying the warning sensor. I went back to the Uhal store and advised them about it. The lady rep said ignore and drive it. They didn't have another cargo van. I had no choice to take it and use it as it's my moving day. While driving it kept on beeping multiple times. The lock were kept on auto locking the door. I was annoying while on the long drive. I had to blast music to block out the sound. Please have it repaired and it's not safe. I did numerous check to make sure the door is shut. Even tho the sensor are faulty and it isn't safe. After I decide to cancel my reservation at the same and took my business else tomorrow. Thanks, Arun.RArun R.
