We told them we would pick our own drop off day after getting u haul they changed are location drop off so had to go way out of the way for the drop off

Calvin BDo not like the way U Haul figures the one-way rental rate. They assume that that the pickup location is where you are leaving from. I rented the truck, drove to where I was picking up furniture, which was in the opposite direction, before taking to the destination, unloading, then taking the truck to the drop-off location. Ended up with an additional $35 in mileage charges over what was calculates with my rental. Rental period allowed for 2 days, only needed 1 day. Truck was fine, pickup and drop-off locations were fine.

David TSomewhere in the process my drop off location was changed and I was not informed. From the time I made the reservation and selected and confirmed the day before pickup the location drop off was different then was was selected and printed on my confirmation and I had no notification. This is the second time this has happened and I will not use Haul in the future if another option is available. I would rather pay more then to continue to get jerked around in this process. Very poor corporate policy in constantly changing the information without proper notification. In this day and age of technology this is unacceptable.

Danielle COriginal truck we reserved wouldn’t start because of clear neglect from location. Gave us a different one, had check engine light on and sounded like an airplane going down the road.

Kevin BI arrived on time and was told there was no haul service that day despite my reservation. I already was moved 30 minutes away from the dealer of choice. I had to have the trailer. Finally the said they would serve me. They complained that the 1-⅞ " hitch ball was not acceptable. I had a 2 inch with me but no help to change it. "It was not my responsibility When I got home with the trailer, I changed the ball. I hope to stay with my neighborhood haul dealer.
Warren HWhen I got there to drop off the trailer, a gentleman came out of the 'drive thru' and just verified the info on the trailer and told me to drop it off on the other side of the parking lot. No paperwork, confirmation of drop off, etc... I reached out to uHaul to confirm I was at the correct location, because it would be my luck I'd drop off the hardware at a 'fake' location
JOSEPH HThey were AWESOME!! The weather was awful but they came out to help us. They even found a forgotten bank card and brought it to us before we left! The trip itself was awful (truck pulled to the right constantly and one of the car-trailer lights pooped off in N Tennessee) but P/U and D/O were exceptionally smooth and easy!! Thx again, gentlemen!! :)
