I rented a vehicle from U-Haul Mobile of Hasbrouck Heights (123 RTE 17) and the experience was extremely disappointing. The truck was given to me with an empty fuel tank, and I returned it in the same empty condition. Despite this, I was charged for fuel with the claim that the vehicle was not returned full, which is completely inaccurate. I tried to resolve this by calling and messaging multiple times, but received no support and no response at all. No one took responsibility and the issue was simply ignored. After reading other reviews, I realized many customers have experienced the same problem, which shows this is not an isolated incident but a systematic customer service issue. They are quick to take your money, but when a problem comes up, they completely disappear. I do not recommend this location. Choose another rental company that actually supports its customers.
