I had a truck reserved for 8:30 AM, but the vehicle was not accessible at the reserved pickup time. The lockbox was not working, and we spent nearly an hour trying to troubleshoot and figure out how to access the key. During that time, there was no clear guidance from customer service or communication on where the key was actually located. We eventually learned that the key was being held at a nearby local shop, which did not open until 10:00 AM. After an hour of delays and confusion, the shop owner came out to hand us the key and said “yeah, they key has bene in here”. It was extremely frustrating and felt unprofessional. The combination of a non-functioning lockbox and the key being stored at a closed business meant we were essentially set up for failure from the start, despite having an early morning reservation. The delay caused unnecessary stress and disrupted our moving schedule. Because the truck was not available at the reserved time and a delayed start to the moving process. I would appreciate consideration for a partial refund. I hope this feedback helps improve after-hours pickup procedures so future customers do not experience similar issues.
