UHaul dropped the ball, but the representative at Mount Hope Pizza and Wings went above and beyond to make things right. I had originally booked the truck to be picked up at a different location and received a call a couple of days before to let me know that I would have to travel to a different location to get the size of truck I had reserved. I appreciated that the Mount Hope location was not too far away, but did not appreciate the short notice - I originally booked well in advance of when I needed the truck. As well, the pick up time was changed from 9 am to 11 am, which was not convenient on moving day. When I spoke with the UHaul rep, he assured me that I could keep to my schedule by using contact-less pick up by installing the app and following the instructions. The night before pick up I received a call from the Mount Hope location letting me know that the truck was there and could be picked up at 11am. I told him that I was using contactless pickup and he let me know that a lock box had not been provided and that contactless pick up was not possible. Although they open at 11am, he came in at 9am to accommodate me being able to pick up the truck at the originally scheduled time. This was excellent customer service that I truly appreciated.
