On the form when you pick up your U-Haul equipment. Make sure the form says the drop off location. From where I agreed to return my equipment changed somewhere along the process. My form just said Tallahassee, FL. Only way I knew the address was I called U-Haul the evening before returning it. Very inconvenient for the return when my trailer was to be returned across town from where I originally agreed to. Took five phone calls to get the return back to my side of town, but not at my original location as planned. The location was not open when returning, so I had to self process the return. All in all I was able to return it. Not happy with customer service with U-Haul though.

Alvin SThe storage center I picked the truck up was excellent (and I highly recommend them) but the U-haul part (independent from the storage center) was very poor and I don't recommend them. Your idea of phone-based pickup and drop off is great but your software is, with all due respect, pathetic. It took me over half an hour to go through the pickup process on my iPhone 13 and I had to re-upload again the photos of my driver license multiple times (due to several timeouts) even though I already uploaded those images and provide you with all the other requested info when I reserved the truck. After half an hour including multiple attempts to upload the back of my driver license I gave up on your phone self-checkout procedure and walked in the office of the storage center. Fortunately there was a lady in the office who was able to complete my check-in within less than 5 minutes. For the truck itself, the air-condition fan was not working so the vents did not blow any air. Even with both windows fully open, driving during outside temperatures exceeding 90 degrees was quite an unpleasant experience. Similar to the pickup, the drop-off procedure took over an hour to complete on my phone. I ended up just dropping the key in the box and left the facility completing the checkout process on my phone from home for the last photo to finally transmit. All-in-all a very disappointing rental experience.

John CAccessing rental information online at the UHaul site was frustratingly difficult. Also, the system changed my return location for the one way rental from Pittsburgh to Jacksonville FL. I discovered this the day after the rental. The uhaul folks at the pickup location had a hard time changing the drop off location to the right one. Had to call someone and make multiple changes in the system, which kept changing back to Jacksonville.

Theresa SAfter hours dropoff. The only reason I knew the site was Uhaul was because there was one other truck in the gas station parking lot. If it wouldn't have been there, I wouldn't have known it was there.

Miatta TAfter hours drop-off instructions risky; u-haul key drop box was not clearly visible at night (just a regular, black letter box with a paper sign labeling it as the dropbox) and even then was easily opened. Sign inside box indicated me to leave key on driver’s side suspension, which i deemed risky. I will turn keys in tomorrow when locale is open.
FRANCISCO PThe drop off area did not have any clear areas marked for the return nor any space to park a larger truck. I did not know whether the place was a true drop off location so I had to call my pickup location to verify that I could drop it off.

Jeffrey GUhaul Van was dirty, I had to clean it out before loading it. The tire pressure light was on and the oil change light was on. I was told they were on and should not be any problem. These should be taken care of before someone rents the vehicle and not having another van in stock to change to, makes it hard to say anything about when you are on a time schedule.
Amber BParking lot was extremely small, tight and inadequate for maneuvering/parking trucks, another uhaul parked illegally blocked my ability to back truck into the only remain parking spot. Had to leave the truck in a turnaround loading space in front of building due to it being the only available space.

Zachary HI rented the truck after the work hour, and the experience was terrible. It took me literally an hour for me to get into the truck. Verification process was inefficient and nonsense, and the representatives were not professional dealing with issues. When I put in the alternative number for contact, it did not notify that the company will be contacting the person, which was very much disappointing considering you guys are a bug corp.

Patricia LWhen I rented the truck I thought it would be at Tennessee Street and capital circle 25 to 30 minutes from my home address. But we had to go 50 minutes or so across town to pick it up. I told the man on the phone or asked him if I was going to Tennessee St Tallahassee Fl and he said yes.
David OThere was no clear markings this was a Uhaul location, it was just three trucks parked next to a storage unit. The keys for the trucks were mounted to a tree and the orange box shown on the app to put your keys in, was replaced with a wooden box with a piece of paper that’s says uhaul drop keys here. I had so much anxiety that I had put the keys in the wrong place, until I was emailed the receipt.
