GLORIA BTried to tell the guy the U-Haul kept dying on us and the oil light came on when doing so. It happened several times on the way to Richmond from bluffton when I would come to a stop. and he acted like he didn’t care. Took the keys and didn’t say anything. I’m not even sure he was gonna have the U-Haul looked at.
Sarah WHorrible check in experience, the automated system put me through the worst experience i have ever been through. I am never using uhaul again if something isnt done. just absolutely ridiculous and i will tell everyone i know not to use uhaul

DANNY HIt took two hours to rent a truck there because of your guises website or something would not let them take the information for me so two hours is kind of crazy to have a customer stand there to get a truck you guys need to fix that it’s not their fault it is your fault

Latisha TThe pickup process was way too long. No reason I should be waiting 30min for verification and having upload additional documents, that should have taken place at time of reservation. Also the truck was dirty, the cab specifically was covered in dog hair and someone left a window down so it smelled like wet dog and the frost had melted so everything was wet to the touch.

kelly cPick up time was scheduled by U-Haul for the same time the customer dropped the truck off. This resulted in over a half hour wait. Please don't schedule time so close together.
Jeffrey HThe U-Haul was wonderful. The Hoosier movers never showed up to the apartment to help move. They made an excuse and said their car caught on fire, two hours before the scheduled time on the contract. I have not received my refund for the movers.

LLyod MThe battery was dead and the truck was not available at that location. They resolved it, but very frustrating. Drove the truck and then the battery was still dead. Called and it took hours to get a new battery put in. We used a 1/4 tank of gas just so the battery would not die while loading. This was NOT the pick up place's fault.
Anne SIt’s on the east side of the city, you closed the nice clean open spaced one on National that was easily accessible. The West side one is a good distance away.

jason tWaited about an hour in filthy, smoky waiting area for the appropriate staff member to show up and handle the rental. Had to collect my own pads, which were in an untidy heap and grass-covered to boot. Had to go to a second location to pick up the furniture dolly I had reserved.

donald pCalled in to get the trailer when I got there it was not ready it had a flat tire and I had to wait for them to plug the tire and driver side finder was broke
joseph lThe problem with our pickup location had more to do with the Uhaul company than with the actual location. We were originally supposed to pick up in Connersville, Indiana, but were made aware through a telephone call that Connersville did not have any trucks, and we would have to go to Richmond. Nobody from the Uhaul company made Richmond aware that we were coming, so there was no one there to help us. They had to call their Uhaul person in, which meant we had to not only drive a half hour farther to get our truck, but then we had to wait on someone to get there to help us. I don't fault Richmond for that; I fault Uhaul for not making them aware when they changed the plans on us.

DANIELLE RThe store opens at 9 on Saturday, The owner showed up around 10:40 after another customer noticed he wasn’t there and went to his house. The paper work said the fuel level was 3/8 of a tank, the needle was well under 1/4. The truck smelled like smoke.
Thomas GTruck was not cleaned in the box . We had to drive 1.5 hours to get a truck that we reserved 7 weeks before and lost the first 4 hours of our moving day just getting the truck with all my help just standing around waiting . And then on the way on arrival we found that the truck was leaking oil on the right front wheel witch is a safety hazard if it would of come off the truck it would cause a major wreck .

DWAINE EThe cigarette smoke was horrible. The strap on the tow Dolly was torn. This was the second location that the strap was torn... first pick up location was so bad that we declined the rental. Your inspectors are NOT inspecting the straps!!! Who cares about scratches on the fenders of the Dolly of the straps that hold the dammed vehicle are torn???? We wasted over an hour and half driving to a second location to pick up a reliable Dolly. Then fortunately we knew how to hook up trailers as the guy that “helped” hookup didn’t even know or know how to hook up the tow chains, nor know that they needed to be crossed. Honestly had it not been an emergency situation to need a Dolly, we would never use this option again. Better off buying your own.
Jennie LThe business said they opened at 9am and the attendant arrived around 9:20am. However my main issue was that the online website was supposed to give me a code to open the box with the key. I believe I could have gotten my key faster if the code was presented correctly in the online registration portion. Other than that, everything was fine.
Sarah ZMaybe some clear written directions/instructions on how to drop off the U-Haul regardless of the time or day. Also, the drop off address U-Haul gives is incorrect regardless if it is the car lot across the street or the actual U-Haul site.
MICHELE HWear masks, be professional, don't set appointments with people if you aren't even open yet, actually show up to your appointments, don't charge people for materials you don't have on hand, and actually inspect vehicles before renting them (we found a padlock on our rental once we got home and had to cut it off with bolt cutters)

Amy WContinue to proved quality serves. Ive bought a car of ms auto and the guys there made it just as easy to rent a Uhaul. They do good business and i would recommend people at least go there and hear them out for car sales,truck rentals,and anything else you may need when you are looking to buy or rent any used car
RYAN CTook way too long to rent truck. Found out after paperwork was done that i got a bigger truck than i wanted which cost more. I was very disappointed about that. Associate ask if i wanted to redo but didnt feel i should have due to time it took to get any way. Very dissatisfied
JENNY SThe biggest issue I'm having is once I paid my bill for the rental, I overpaid and I haven't received my credit for this yet. The location of the U Haul pick up was great.
