There is no indication that 80 Granby st is a UHaul center. No one was there when I went there. I had a tough time going through the customer service. This branch in bloomfield CT, is a nightmare for anyone who wants to return a truck. I struggled for 2 hours , first trying to identify the location and there is no indication on where to park the truck and next the check out process had to be online during regular hours because the person was not in office. I had to email him to make him come to office. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.Galvin D.

When we arrived, there was no one there to help us. On top of that, the truck had no gas in it. Additionally, the truck sounded like it was going to break down. When returning the truck, the gentleman that helped us behaved as if we were bothering him. Also, there were tons of people surrounding the area that were cursing and loitering. The location smelled of marijuana and the overall experience was absolutely repulsive. I would never recommend someone using this location, this was the worst experience I have ever had. I feel as if the location was a drug pen, and not a proper UHAUL facility. When we arrived for assistance, there was no one there to direct us and the entire place was closed down. I googled the number and some random man picked up asking me for my debit card information over the phone and when I told him I didn't feel comfortable he stated he couldn't help me if I didn't provide him the details. He also, behaved as if we were bothering him for assistance. Worst experience ever.Cierra R.

While the staff were very nice, the specified equipment (dolly and pads) which I rented was not there. The owner was not present. The staff had an issue printing out the contract, and I had to sign it verbally. I was on the phone with two different UHaul customer service agents, one of whom tried repeatedly to convince me that I had not rented the equipment, the other about the rental contract, who also could have taken a far more customer service-focused approach.Edmond C.
This place was closed at 4pm. Guy working on the cars in the garage wouldn't open the door and told me the owner wasn't there. I had to convince him to call someone. This other guy showed up 5 minutes later only to tell me the owner wasn't there. I explained to him I confirmed a Uhaul rental truck over the internet. He called the owner who showed up 45 minutes later. He doesn't have the technology to rent a uhaul so it had to be done over the phone. What a disaster.Patrick C.
