The self check out didn't work so I was lucky there was someone that could help. I tried calling twice the day before and only got voicemail and no call back. The check out process didn't let me continue unless I clicked that everything was good on the truck, when it wasn't. The truck had over 145,000 miles on it and the brakes did not work well and when I used the brakes the engine would not turn over. It was very uncomfortable driving it with the fear it would break down. I literally had to run a red light due to the brakes not working properly.

It's a circle K store and shell gas station. It's Not a uhaul store. So I had no customer service. Had to scan a QR code. The employee wouldn't even signed my invoice that I dropped it off. Some could back up and and hitch up the trailer. If I would have known this wasn't an actual uhaul store. I would have never chose this location
JOHN DAsking if the customer has rented through such a process/location before and PROVIDING INSTRUCTIONS in advance of their pickup if they haven’t would have been helpful. We didn’t know about this remote process working through a lockbox and taking photos inside and outside of the vehicle. So the pickup was unnecessarily confusing. We also didn’t know that a photo of the odometer and gas gauge was needed at drop off. We only used about 1/8 tank of gas and were hit with a $30 gas charge because we didn’t know about/complete that step. Not sure we’ll do this again!
Patrick MThe locks would not open with the codes entered. I wasted 20 minutes, and another customer at the site had the same issue. We both tried spinning the wheels many times without luck. The locks are junk. I had a crew waiting on me to load items at my house. The delay cost me time and money. I also found the on site system of entering drivers license pictures and being required to take numerous pictures of the vehicle nonsensical and time consuming. Very poor experience.

JAMES DIssue: when I picked up the truck the appliance dolly wasn’t in it. The location did not have one and one could not be provided from a different location at that time. To improve, make sure ALL the equipment that is ordered is present at pick up time.
