SHIRLEY BInitially I was contacted by who was supposedly the business owner?? the very day I picked up my rental ,which I was to have 3 days- he wanted to know exactly when I was going to deliver the truck to him ??! as I explained to him I also have the option of an extra day if I chose, he was not appreciative, was not very professional was quite honestly rude, and at the time I was telling the people helping me- I've never had an experience like that through one of the U-Haul places. I also reported the incident to U-Haul during a phone call and asked -them if it was normal ?, because I've been renting for years and granted this is my first time renting one way ,but I was told that it was agreed that the person could have been more polite and professional with me- that was my first contact. Now bear in mind my witness and I spent over $700/ $800 with U-Haul in this move-we had a 10-ft truck and a full car hauler trailer as well as a 20 ft truck that I drove. Now days later things went wrong, I wound up hospitalized I'm paying more than I initially thought I would ,but U-Haul took care of me during that time ,they were very fair ,they even gave me courtesy time because of being in the hospital , however when I went to drop it off : the parking lot is dark it's located behind a stereo shop- I guess? Kinda sketchy. Suddenly I'm approached while having a witness -!by someone who is not wearing a uniform or ID badge like they work there very aggressive and brash and as I'm getting ready to put the key in the U-Haul drop box which I called U-Haul to report this of course-* so let's see what they do about it - the person that approaches me out of a group of people- now granted the business in the front is closed it's kind of dimly lit ,I've never seen this person before he and a small group approach me and the person that was helping me and he starts demanding the key, I did what anybody would do, no I'm putting in the Dropbox ,he gets egotistical and decides to bark at me that he's the owner of the business and that the key is his?, no it's not it's U-Hauls -this person continued to have people walking around to a point where we gave them the key but I made it clear I was going to complain to U-Haul because I've never been treated this way by anyone affiliated with U haul. He laughed, btw I may not look like much and I may have had medical problems but it doesn't mean that I need to teach this person the difference between disabled and completely not defenseless in response for his attempts of intimidation which were taken as threats honestly, I grew up in very rough areas during very rough times and everywhere from county to federal law enforcement can tell you they've interacted with me I'm not someone to be completely disrespected or the attempted threats or intimidation because that could have very easily that night had I been in the wrong mood gone the wrong way -this jerk is a liability I'm only pointing this out, because maybe the next person will teach him a severe lesson in manners. Or maybe a U-Haul customer will get hurt on his property by him and his cronies. And I won't allow myself to ever be again, after 20 plus years of relationship with U-Haul this kind of incident can make me start thinking of going to the competition!! when I need a rental truck. I'm not paying hundreds of dollars to a corporation to have one of their third party agents who quite honestly should no longer be ,treat me like crap , and I retired from the automotive industry(master technician : covering all facets including; welding /fabrication ,hydraulics and electrical ,everything from motorcycles to motor yachts, including ship to shore communications ,Ham radio systems ,custom builds, including audio /video systems) I far surpassed him even though I had to retire early, I'll bet you in the business world I far surpassed him, maybe in the level of humanity I have far surpassed him, but yet this person decides to treat a customer with negative judgment ? Why?? because I'm white?, I use a cane?, I have long gray hair ?? -maybe he just doesn't have the personality for the business, definitely not what U-Haul should have representing them and my witness that was with me they're passing the word too. U-Haul I know I'm just a customer, but I'm going to give you some very wise advice at my age and I am medically retired from what I used to do but I do do advisory too much larger organizations than even U-Haul ,as someone who actually changed government program protocols- I highly recommend that you decide to dismiss this person from your contract vendor status and consider the fact that they will be a liability for you. FERNANDO VI was over charged only drove in town less than 10 miles was charged for over 90 miles my card was charged multiple times …. Only good thing came out of it is jimmy was very helpful trying to resolve the issue

RAMON AI had a reservation and I changed it for the next morning at 6am and they told me they would leave the keys in the lock box, the keys were not left there and I had to wait for them to open at 9 then when I get there he said they forgot to do it and that they don’t even know if the truck was there, luckily it was but I will never use this location ever again it was the worse experience with U-Haul ever and I use them with ever move

KYLE PThe pick up took over 35 minutes because the guy was having issues with his computer he didn't say anything he just kept doing whatever it was that he was doing and didn't have any good customer service whatsoever. The truck was disgusting and dirty. I have never rented a U-Haul in this condition before. While driving the truck it felt like it was going to break down. The heater didn't work. The guy basically threw the key on the counter when it was officially time to get the truck which at this point picking up a truck that was already reserved took a hour. At the location there are numerous other men standing there watching and felt very uncomfortable. This was the worst experience that I have ever had.

SERGIO AGet better Representatives the truck was filthy I only went 15 miles but was charged for going more than 30 when my home is 1.6 miles away from the rental and the storage unit I used was 1.8 MI away from where I lived and I made two trips that's not 30 miles he was a half an hour late

However, upon returning the truck, the person pointed out to me that I had been overcharged by uhaul and made the return easy.

Araseli PI was charged more for mileage. He didn't give me a receipt. He said one will be texted to me. I NEVER received anything. I did see he charged my card $84.00 for the mileage I gave him as an estimation of 30 miles. But I my actual miles were 13 miles. He showed me a charge of $58.02, which he said will be charged

Yorel SCustomer service can be improved. The UHAUL was filthy and I had to sweep out the whole back from the last business but overall they did have the truck ready for me and I appreciated that.

Edwin CCab was filthy dirty, unknown gooey substance on floor of the cab and in cargo area, doors do not seal and passenger door does not close completely and was a safety concern for my help, overall the worst U Haul experience! Ana MScam artist. This location billed me for incorrect mileage. The folks at this location are using the trucks or lending them to friends and then billing U-Haul customers the mileage. I am very upset, I barely drove the 25 miles I paid for, now imagine paying $450+ for the previous renter’s mileage. This location never told me to use a phone to click a link before driving away, once you drive away without clicking the link your responsible to report the miles, gas, and condition using the link. What if your like me and didn’t have a phone with me??? Screwed… U-Haul lost a customer for life after this bs.
Jonathan LLetting the customer know they HAVE to bring it back to the same location. Very inconvenient for me to drive of the opposite side of the city because I was never notified.
