The blankets weren't all folded up so we had no idea how many we really got. I was supposed to get 24. That said, when we went to load, we counted as we used them and only got 22. So, I was charged for more than we got.
MARCI CService person was very rude. He also told me my license was expired when it doesn't expire until 2027. Gas gauge was incorrect and he refused to correct paperwork. He also refused to inspect the truck with me. When I returned , there was no where to park. He made me move the vehicle 3 different times and tried for a fourth but I refused. Truck was not swept prior to rental and can smelled awful.

Patricia JIt took an hour to get our truck, which seemed slower than usual, possibly due to my out-of-state driver’s license. Despite the app’s instructions, I had to wait for three people to confirm the process. The app also warned me that the process was taking too long and forced me to log out and start again. I then had to reach out to three contacts and wait for their responses. If they didn’t respond quickly enough, I had to repeat the entire process. I hated the experience
ALI SThe location is crowded.. the owner said I could not park my car there temporarily while I moved .. had to explain I am alone . They did accommodate.. but it wasn’t very good experience.. looks like a towing company drop off.. and my car was blocked in ..but managed to move my vehicle and park the truck back in the same place..U-Haul should advise customers the situation at this location.. .. not a great location.. however it was an emergency.. I returned the truck ASAP. I would not recommend this location to friends or family… sorry

Alexandria GUhaul switched my reservation to a different location and vehicle the morning of reservation. The vehicle at this location had an almost flat tire, that I had to pay for the air and fill it myself, instead of the location servicing its vehicle. The warning lights were on in the vehicle, and there was still trash from the previous renter. They then informed me that I couldn’t leave my car at this location. Which is beyond inconvenient and not how any Uhaul location I’ve ever been to operates. It added more stress and time wasted to my already busy day, to have to now arrange to move my vehicle somewhere else. The only upside was the employee was friendly.
Jacqueline GI had to go to 3 different places before I got a truck cost 75$ to get can 3 times very upset I'll never use u- haul again
JEFFREY PTank was only 1/4 full at pick up. Battery seemed weak so I kept the truck running at all stops.
Leigh RUpon getting in the UHAUL we discovered it smelled like cigarettes and we found a half lit cigarette in the center counsel. We also found a dead frog smashed into the window of the inside door and smashed almonds on the floor with someone tooth floss. It was just not a clean car and upon returning I attempted to mark the car was not cleaned even you all tried to charge me a $25 cleaning fee when I didn’t make it dirty.. I’ve used UHAUL before but this was a disappointing experience.

AIDAN MOn my second rental, the fuel was almost empty and I was told it was ok to return it the same. First, I don’t like getting a vehicle that I immediately have to fill to drive out of the lot. And second I do t like doing this to someone else. So I left more gas than I started on both rentals. I cleaned out papers left on the dash.
JOHN GThe location was a gas station in a rougher area of town and was rundown looking. Not sure if this is normal at some locations, but they required me to bring the add on items inside the location. This was the first time that I had to do this. He never came out, looked at the truck or provided any paperwork that I checked it in. The email receipt was accurate, so in the end it was all ok.
SHAWN MThere were clothes and other things let in the truck that needed to be cleaned out by the return location. Neep was great and went above and beyond to ensure my experience was great and the rental went smoothly.

Michele CI wish I had picked up from a uhaul center. He gave me zero information and because there was no wifi it wasnt until I got to my first stop that I could read the disclaimer info and how to work the truck. I was very scared but wasn't helped at all. He was busy running a gas station quickly mart. Drop off was incredible! The storage place was very helpful.
Alisa PUhaul quoted me a price and because I was a little late with the truck, they charged me almost @112.00 for a one day rental, they doubled everything and I am trying to get a refund for some of my funds. No I do not recommend the place where I rented the uhaul from.
Shirley JThe location was confusing on where to park. I had to go out of my way to find a spot. It looked like a deserted location. The location seemed a little unsafe. I didn't even know there was a person to help. I did everything myself.
HIMAN PI had to wait over 20 minutes at a gas station. Attendant did not speak English. I had to re submit info I had already entered online. I received over 5 emails which was confusing, esp when I was working with moving labor/help.
William JHorrible experience and the person I dealt with is dishonest. There was little room to maneuver the truck. When I asked the attendent/employee to come check the vehicle and verify the gas level, he said he was too busy and he would email me the receipt and review. I told him I wanted to be with him when he inspected the truck but he wouldn't budge. Well............guess what? He charged me for two gallons of gas when I left more gas in the truck when rented. I called him and told him to remove the charge from my credit card and to email me a pic of the fuel guage but no response. VERY SLIMEY! I am having Amex remove the charge and reporting this to the BBB.
Jeffrey PThe u-haul truck smelt horrible like someone peed in it and the truck had less than a quarter tank in it.
Brian FRental process was easy and location was helpful, but truck had multiple warning lights and service lights. "Service Stabilitrack and ABS" lights were on and flashing.
Marc FYou can tell truck is not maintained well. When I picked up the truck the low tire pressure sensor was on so I went back inside to let the gentleman know and he said it was just the sensor that had a problem. I feel like he should have said something prior. The truck itself was not stable and the steering wheel was wobbly on the highway.
Angelica GI had originally booked it for one location and then a few days before the move found out they didn’t have it available. You sent me to this U-Haul, which is also in Tampa, but in a very high crime homeless people. And the location is not only a convenient store and gas station but also the U-Haul. It took me about an hour to finally get his attention to help me because people were coming in and out.

ALEJANDRA VThe truck didn’t have a gas cap, other than that my experience with the company was amazing. Somehow my drop off location got switched, I called and they immediately fixed the situation. Everyone I came in contact with from the start was very polite and helpful.
JOEL FLocation is very sketchy and felt unsafe with the customers coming in. The gentleman helping us was not prepared and had to close the store in order to assist us. Took a lot longer than expected for it being a “quick” rental. He had to stop our rental process to help customers come in and for it being a gas station, I had to wait a while before I was actually assisted. I prefilled out all my information weeks prior and he had to retake all my information as though it was not there. I will definitely be renting from an actual U-Haul location and not pick up from a gas station. I recommended the U-Haul company find better businesses to have their vehicles rented from.
Virna MThe vehicle was not in good condition. It was dirty and unsafe. When pulling the brakes it was moving left and right, there was vibration in the wheels during acceleration. AC was not working properly, it was activated only on the highest fan level. I was double charged for being an hour late both for coverage and rental fees. The officer was helpful however could not support flexibility on the additional fees against mentioned safety issues.
Gunay GI tried to drop off the truck as scheduled and the person at the place told me he didn’t have room for the truck and told me I had to drop it off at a different location. That location was a bit scary and not in a good area so I felt very uncomfortable.

Thomas PCame in and truck was given away already, had to walk to other location to get a different truck, paid for a bigger size than needed, they did not have the type of dollys needed and put on order initially, made it extremely difficult to move furniture
Christopher Sthe application because it took me almost 30 minutes to return the equipment, the application was impossible and they agreed to refund me $20 dollars and they didn't do it.
Mayelin BThis was literally the worst experience I’ve ever had trying to do a transaction for a business. The fact that you pick up in an active business is insane. The clerk was stopping mid transaction the ring people in. Ask me for an additional persons contact, couldn’t understand what I was saying so called me to write it down, he handed me a piece of paper with 5 other people’s personal information on it. Then told me the number I gave him didn’t match, didn’t watch what?!?? The whole transaction just to pick up the vehicle took about 35 minutes.
Myles GFirst off, it took over THIRTY FIVE MINUTES to even get the keys the truck.. they kept making us upload the license that we did about 4 times until we finally got the keys. Tried doing the self check in but that is never actually self check in because they always make you go to the cashier anyways so this time I just went inside.. big mistake. Second, the truck was never cleaned when i received it. There was a steak knife in the side door, trash, water bottles and a bunch of miscellaneous junk in the cup holders… whatever. Then, we always always always take pictures of the mileage and gas, didn’t realize this time in the picture it said “phone” where the mileage should be displayed. Upon returning we were charged for miles WE DID NOT DRIVE… I will never ever use uhaul again. Customer service was absolutely no help.
