When picking up the rental van, the attendant did not know how to issue the release. Unable to contact her manager by phone, she proceeded to tell me I could not have the van and needed to reschedule another day. Not willing to accept the fact that my entire moving plans would need to be cancelled, time taken off work etc, simply because she didn’t know how to release the van, I insisted that she call U-Haul to figure it out. She did and the women at U-Haul quickly had the release forms issued for me. Nothing against U-Haul but if 3rd parties are going offer the service they can’t be ignorant of the process. Pushing onto the customer to resolve is a further insult.

Junaid SIt was a really poor Maintained truck. The passenger side mirror could not be adjusted to see behind. The steering wheel is out of alignment - the rest position of the wheel is at the 10pm position. The van burned $175 worth of gas from Caledon Village to steels and Jane then to Oakville, Winston Churchill and dundas then back to Caledon. Then when we returned the van, the lady at the counter didn't know what to do. This is unreal.
