No manager to close contract on site. Asked to wait while having friends wait to take me back home. Short answer, no. I do not recommend.

Jonathan CThe gentleman I dealt with was pleasant. However it was not the location I had requested. Colby drive in Waterloo was walkable. The Elmira location I had to get a taxi. Also a busy convenience store. It wasn’t noticeable as a U-Haul depot.
Robert TOnly a young teenager on site. Had to talk to the owner on the phone to rent the trailer. Had to hook the trailer up myself and was not shown how. I am capable of doing so but that’s not the point. Some people wouldn’t have a clue and that would be super dangerous. I had to take pictures my self to prove there was no before and after damage. And when returning was told just park it where you got it and no inspection for damage was done.
Ryan WThe whole experience was bad. Told the afternoon before a truck was not available at my selected location, would have to drive an extra 30 minutes to pick it up and it couldn’t be ready until 2 hours later than I scheduled. When I got there I saw the truck and asked when it had been returned. The store clerk said it was there when he got to work that morning. Also the clerk couldn’t check us in himself. Had to call his boss who was “busy” at first. Another delay. Not great customer service
Melody DNot professional, tried charging more then listed, only corrected after arguing about the price. He tried charging me $99 saying he was checking prices on site and said that's what they are. I was on site and quoted also what I was told by a Uhaul representative. Then he agreed I was right. After I had to go get trailer do the hook up and when returned I had to do everything myself. They never even checked the trailer when I returned it.

ALEJANDRO BI rented a 20 footer a month ahead. One day before the moving date UHaual contacted me and said they don’t have 20 footers instead they will get me a 25 footer. This is tegardley of confirmation I had. On the moving date, I showed up and was told, sorry we can only get you a 10 footer. I am very disappointed

WILFREDTIMOTHYCA BHave no idea if this truck was properly sanitized prior to pick-up. The service person seemed confused because we went inside to get the key and we had completed online check-in so they tried telling us we already picked up the truck. Also this location was not our original requested pick-up location, but the truck we wanted was not available at the original location. U-Haul was good to provide additional km's for free due to the additional mileage for the pick-up.

Patrick MThe representatives at this store were helpful and made note that the moving blankets we paid for that weren't in the truck at pick-up would assist us with trying to get our money back from them although we have to call during regular business hours. Easy location to find, friendly service, and quick to get us processed.

paul wI reserved the vehicle on Monday, January 20, 2020 at the Hasty Market in Elmira for pick up on the morning of Satruday, January 25, 2020 around 8:30 am. I received a call from the Hasty Market on Friday January 24, 2020 asking me to pick up the vehicle at the Corner Store in Elmira and that every thing was in order. Upon arriving at the Corner Store in Elmira Saturday morning the manager new nothing about us coming for the vehicle. I showed in my text with the confirmation number that I received from your office but he still had to call Andy from your corporation. We ended up having to completely re-register for the rental unit. While this was all taking place (close to 3/4 of an hour before finally leaving the parking lot, I was paying 4 people who I had hired to help move and the were standing here waiting on us to come back. I feel that this is totally unacceptable and feel that I should be entitled to some form of compensation for this issue that your company fault - not mine. Jayne Fleming
Jayne FThe blankets and the trolley were missing when I picked up the truck, but I could pick up the blankets only 2 hours later. The trolley I couldn't fit in my car so I left it behind.

Gary MI had ordered a one way trip with the trailer I had rented. I pick it up and there’s no jack for the tongue, no one to help me lift it up and put it on my hitch. The toilet inside was dirty and I had to clean it out before I put my stiff in there. Then I go to drop it off and I’m told I had an in town rental and they were expecting it back where I rented it in Elmira. And on top of all that it took damn near 45 minutes to get everything down when I went to pick up the trailer. If you really care about this review get in touch with me.

Mike SI will never tell anyone to ever use your servicses and I tell everyone that I meet to never never ever go to the location on Colby drivevin Waterloo. I made a reservation to pick up a truck at 7 am at the fairway road location in Kitchener 90 days prior to my moving date. I called the week before to confirm. All was ok then. I called two days prior to my move, again all ok. The evening before, thats right the evening before my move the afore mentioned location in waterloo called me not the kitchener location the waterloo location IN ANOTHER CITY called me to say. " the truck that i reserved will not be ready untill 5pm. So not at the location requested not at the time requested. The staff at the location were very unprofessional and incompotnet in customer service. They were both not in the store upon my arrival, they smelt very strongly of smoke, neither repesentive of your company was even wearing a clean uniforn at 8 am when i arrived to pick up the only option i was given. They were short and rude with me they were not up front aboutbcash deposits and insurance. This is not how any customer needs to be treated. I cancled that order completely i was outraged and insulted by this entire event. I had to spen two hours finding a truck in Elmira. That worked out but if i had had any other choice at that time i would not use yor serverices nor will i ever again call uhaul. Unless i want to be promised one thing, have rude part time (im sure) indivual try to help who knows nothing about customer service.
