Dropped off after hours - no personnel on-site.
Gregory PI am submitting a formal complaint regarding a U-Haul rental that resulted in significant safety concerns, service failures, and out-of-pocket expenses. I reserved a 10-foot truck with a car dolly on March 7 for pickup on March 22. On March 19, I was informed the pickup location would be closed. After multiple calls, I was told I would need to travel to Little Rock to retrieve the equipment, which I declined. I adjusted my pickup to March 21, but on March 20 was informed that no 10-foot trucks were available. I was required to accept a 20-foot truck or cancel. At pickup, the reserved car dolly was also unavailable and was replaced with a full car trailer, increasing both weight and fuel consumption. During my trip on March 23, the vehicle developed serious mechanical issues, including loss of air conditioning, abnormal RPM surging, and engine noise. I reduced my speed to avoid further damage, which delayed my arrival and disrupted scheduled unloading arrangements. The following morning, I discovered a significant oil leak that had covered my personal vehicle and the trailer. A technician confirmed the truck had lost its fluids due to a failed seal and required towing. Despite this, I was incorrectly advised that the truck could be driven. Additional delays occurred due to dispatch errors involving incorrect vehicle information. This vehicle was not in a condition suitable for rental. The situation created unnecessary risk, delay, and expense. I incurred approximately $400 in fuel costs, along with additional cleaning and repair-related expenses for my vehicle. All documentation and photos have been previously submitted. I am requesting appropriate reimbursement for the increased costs, equipment substitution, and the unsafe condition of the vehicle.

James WBest U haul experience ever, they took truck and trailer, I did NOT have to unhook it!!!!! They did it, and while I was waiting on my ride, I saw him check air pressures, fluid levels and prepare the truck for the next rental. I would definitely rent here next time! MATTHEW RWhen I reserved the trailer, I was quoted a special rate of about $100 or more less than I actually paid. That was supposed to be a special deal for the drop off location in Kalispell Montana. I wish that I'd been given a paper quote at that time confirming price and location, When I actually picked up the trailer a different person was not there and could not find that rate. Since I needed the trailer, I reluctantly paid. She suggested that the price I was quoted did not include tax, but I know it did.
RONALD GThe people at Uhail Traffic kelp putting my pick up time at 12pm and I finally had to get the Lady at New Frontier Storage to go in and fix it. Also the text I got was to return it about 2 miles from where I was at and I had already talked to the closest uhaul place and they were really nice and gave me instructions that help with my return.
HAZEL DOUsed after hours drip. No way to put equipment behind fence or gate?! Need to improve this. Or after hours drop number to verify drop off.
