Owner of gas station was nearly one hour late for my pick up. Very unorganized and very dirty location. I had drove two and a half hours with my disabled daughter and terminally ill friend to pick this up and was extremely disappointed with this service as I had done the check in online to avoid waiting. There was no gas in the vehicle. I had to put it in. No instruction given. I had to ask how to operate the vehicle, it’s loading ramps and door, etc. I was asked to buy insurance but didn’t tell me what it cover.

If you have ordered on line and paid why such a long pick up procedure asked for drivers licence and how am I goi ng to pay when I have already have given my drivers licence and credit card online other wise great thank you

The $50 process made it very unclear whether a vehicle was actually going to be available. The practice of sending out trucks with partial tanks of fuel is inconvenient and leaves a lot of subjectivity to paying for fuel. The truck I got failed the walk-around with a defective driver side turn/brake signal. That said, I did get the truck on time as promised.

Absolutely horrible customer service; had to use this location a few times and happy that I never have to go there again. They didn't have our reservation and when they found it, they put us down for the late afternoon when it was clearly booked for the morning. Also overcharged for the insurance.

This location was excellent, all in all , was supposed to be called by U-Haul to advise were to drop off trailer as the one they said to drop it off at was closed and no longer in business. The trailers need major updating.

Would have preferred to have a printed copy of my contract along with signatures for my personal budgeting info but apart from that the service was excellent, very helpful and polite. Had a positive and pleasant experience I recommend this location for good customer service.

He spoke to a coworker in a different language and I simply stood there waiting for him to give me direction. He had his young boy out checking the mileage of the truck. Took 15 minutes to drop off the truck but no payment was required as I had already paid upon pick up in Brampton.

Waited 2 hours, truck was stuck in a snow bank while I had paid a week before and that there was no snow the day before or same day to prepare the truck for 3pm. The employee was rude, did not care at all and lied to us on numerous occasions. He released the truck in the system at 4 while we were still waiting for it after 5pm. We lost money since we had hired movers. Extremely disapointed. Even the dispatch warehouse did not seem to care. Never again.

For starters, my trailer was partially burried under snow, with no jack to hold it up, we manually held the trailer up while another person back the truck up. Good thing I had a friend with me. No one came to help. The part that you lock the trailer to the truck was cross threaded and we needed a wrench to lock it to the hitch. Next there were no working light for the trailer. There were wired tow lights attached to the trailer. The door was left open so there was snow in it as well there was garbage in the back of the trailer. There were no marker lights. Just the tow lights. This trialed was not safe by any means.

We chose Kirkland Lake drop off but when we got there they told us that they weren’t set up yet as a U-Haul location so couldn’t accept our return. So we had to drive another hour to New Liskeard to drop off. Ironically we had just come from there so it was very out of our way to return. The staff was helpful however and able to accept a late night return.

My rental experience previous was at the location that I dropped this truck off to and it also was great. I recommend that one as well to friends in Barrie

There was a wide variety of choices. My truck was very clean, and had a new car smell. The customer service was great! They were so friendly.

Very friendly staff. The truck was of great quality. Since the truck was rented well in advance, it would have been great if even a cursory check of the equipment was done and preferably the truck should have been moved to easily accessible location. When the customer arrived on site, the assigned equipment appeared to be in excellent condition but was parked on a grassed/iced location. The truck was not drivable from this location and extensive shuttling of vehicles was expected of the customer to access the assigned truck. After extensive time was invested in trying to access the vehicle, the staff readily made a switch to another quality truck. It would have be great if the mobility of the reserved vehicle could have been pre-determined and moved to a "ready" position without extensive work by the customer and an hour and a half between arrival on site to pick up the truck and departure with the truck.

Waited nearly an hour in new liskeard esso just to have paperwork and keys given to us, only one person working in the store and uhaul at the same time, continued to serve everyone else before us.. He told me twice that he even gave us 30 extra km’s, when I returned uhaul in Kirkland lake she notified me that he didn’t Include the extra km’s at all. We had to sweep the uhaul out before we could even use it, there were screws and nails all over inside. No complaints at all about the Kirkland lake drop off. It was very quick, professional and friendly. Great service from top of the rocks rentals.

I called in the morning to ensure it was ready. I was told that the guy that rents the trucks would call me in half an hour. He didn’t. When I arrived they didn’t seem to know what to do. They called the other guy to come in. I was an hour waiting before I got on the road and had to put in gas.

At the Lively location only one drop off location in New Liskeard popped up into the computer. When we went to return the U haul durning business hours we were told no one there could help us and we would have to go to another location.

Truck was stone cold when arrived, wasn't brushed off, needed antifreeze. Excessive play in the steering. Discrepancy in fuel in tank and records. Car Hauler/Trailer not hooked up, had to hook up myself with inexperienced helper who did not speak English or French, no safety chains until I demanded them. Individual came out to assist with backing up and as I was doing so left and when asked why they were unfriendly . Indoor cargo area of truck was filthy and had garbage in it. Have used Uhaul in the past and has previously been very positive, this was atrocious. I will not be using Uhaul in the future and will opt to pay someone to move my goods to avoid this headache again.

Your 4x8 enclosed trailer is the most useless trailer I’ve ever used. Was only able to fit a couch, loveseat and a half dozen boxes in. Was a waste of money to rent it. I wanted a 6x12. Could have moved half my house with 6x12. Instead I went from 2 trips to 8 trips

I was charged for taxes every time I have used Uhaul equipment, but I have a tax-exempt Indian status card. I do believe that the card number was entered, but was advised to contact you as they were unable to accomodate payment. Please advise. I was not alowed to put gas in the rental. So i was billed the $1.50 something per leter gas at the pumps $1.09 it would be nice if i Alow costemer to fill u hall with gas if neede. The locashion had equipment printer / computer issues. I was moving in my opion garbage so i dont sea why i needed extra insurance on trash?

service was good however truck was extremely dirty when picked up - it had been a long time since I rented a vehicle so wasn't sure what to expect... I'm sure it was supposed to be clean but for some reason it was over looked..

The inside of the trailer was very dirty and had to be cleaned prior to us loading it. There was no help hooking up the trailer and making sure that all the lights worked.

Picking up and dropping off my u-haul car hauler, the u-haul rep wasn't even there. An employee of Esso had to complete my pick up. Although this employee tried, they new little of what to do and were little help. They obviously knew nothing of my reservation and gave me the wrong trailer number. After I had the trailer connected to my truck by myself, the Esso employee told me they had given me the wrong number and I had to disconnect and move a cargo trailer by hand to get to the trailer reserved for me. It took an hour in total for me to pick up a trailer that I had reserved online. Again the Esso employee did what they could to help but why would the u-haul rep not be on location when there are reserved trailer pick ups? I will never use this location again
