I received a pick up truck from the Noble Automative Airline location. The individual in the office stated that the truck had 1/2 tank of gasoline but when I verified the truck only had 1/4 tank. I called the office and spoke to the individual who stated he will reflect the verified capacity on his computer and to return the truck with 1/4 tank. I took photographs of the tank upon pick up and drop off. I returned the truck with 1/4 tank as discussed. I was billed $33 for gasoline, $33 for 1/4 of a tank of missing gas is absurd! Never again. Also, be wary of the $25 cleaning fee for a truck that was returned in the same clean conditions it was recieved. Find a different location or a different truck rental company. Take trash out of the cab, make sure the back is clean, and make sure it's fuel of fuel so when the customer returns it at the fuel level it was pick up at they don't get charged for fuel they didn't use. A picture was taken of the mileage and fuel gage before leaving the lot. It was returned at the level picked up at but were charged to fill the tank after drop off.Debby M.
Parking was difficult and getting the truck out of the location was a challenge. Large holes in lot would challenge most vehicles and not enough room to go around them. Other than that, my experience at this location was great.Jason W.

I had a return time at 5 pm. The location was supposed to be open until 5pm which was posted on their sign. I returned the vehicle at 4 and the location was already closed. I was fortunate that I had the U Haul App and was able to return it. This location was not very secureMATTHEWJOHN S.

This was the third location I was sent to. Two minutes before I was due to pick up my first truck, I received a call saying it wasn't available. The equipment was guaranteed when I reserved it (ref# 29767607). I cancelled that reservation and made a reservation at a location on Sewells Point road (ref# 21483694). After being told equipment was available, I eventually received a call saying it wasn't. I was called by an area manager who finally sent me to the location on airline Blvd. Both reservations told me guaranteed or I'd receive $50. I have received no compensation for my trouble. I had several coworkers go through a similar ordeal (this was a military change of home port). Your website needs to be updated to better display available equipment to prevent these issues in the future.Christopher N.

This location is situated on a busy two lane road and it has one entrance even though it is located on a corner lot. There are many cars and other equipment on this tiny lot. It is a dangerous location for someone returning a truck. Especially if its a 26 foot truck pulling a car trailer. I had to stop traffic both ways and back the truck and trailer on to the lot. Maneuvering around, cars, dumpsters, trailers and clutter. I don't think the average driver would have been able to back the truck and trailer into this location. I have driven a truck and trailer for years and that's the only reason I could have safely maneuvered this location. Don't recommend it for a novice driver.Gary S.

I used the self check in to stay away from people and it just told me to go in. Paper said half a tank and was at 3/8. Truck smells like arm pit and ants crawling all over my legs while driving.Ricardo S.
The truck was infested with ants. During my drive to Richmond, I was abruptly attacked by a swarm of ants. Had to pull over to purchase bug spray. After spraying, I waited to allow the fumes to die-down and ride with the windows cracked in 95+ degree heat. I was able to kill most of the ants, but ants were still in the cab when I returned it.Gregory A.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with any rental company. I reserved and prepaid for a 26' box truck and was given confirmation that that box truck would be at the location the next morning. When I called to confirm the unhelpful employee told me all he could give me was a 10' truck... this was after I received confirmation of my 26' truck at this location. I finally got through to customer service and they "found" an available 26' truck 1.5 hours away. I was give confirmation that when I showed up the next morning that truck would be available for mobile pickup... I showed up at 7am the next morning. No one was present. I waited on the phone with customer service until 8:15am. I was then told the 26' truck is not available for mobile pickup (This is after confirmation and driving 3hrs round trip). I was given a 20' truck (no refund, apology, or cost change) and sent on my way by 8:30am. I had movers sitting at my house for over 1.5 hours (which is labor that I had to pay for) because I was supposed to pick up my 26' box truck at 7:00am. I was only able to move a portion of my belongings due to this failure on UHaul's part. I will have to travel back across the state in order to move the rest of my belongings. To say I am frustrated and quite frankly shocked by this poor and unprofessional service would be an understatement. UHaul has failed to recognize and fix the problem they have been created.Jordan S.

The ratchet on the auto transport trailer I rented was extremely rusty. It hadnt been oiled at all and was hard to work with. Safety chains were not properly secured. And tire was visibly in poor condition when rented and David said â€œ it's fine, just needs some air â€œ and 300 miles later the tire blew.Janesha A.

thankfully uHaul transportation corrected the revision made to pickup location as reservation was made 30 days in advance and pickup location changed two days before to most difficult pick up location for our time schedule, but transporation (DAVID) figured out a revision again and all was well!!!!Thomas J.
I requested 48 pads and unfortunately did not inventory to confirm number on pickup. I just acknowledged the piles in the back of the truck. Only when I turned in the truck in Warrenton, VA, did I notice that there only 31 pads issued. Hence, I had to pay for 17 pads.greg W.

My complaint is with U-Haul in itself and not the particular dealership. I ordered a 20' Truck and auto transport 2 weeks in advance of my move. Location desired was the U-Haul service center on Airline Blvd, Portsmouth, Va. I was informed that the truck was at Smiths Furniture & More location in Chesapeake. The truck was not there !!! Now I have men that I'm paying twiddling there thumbs because of no truck. I was directed to Nobles Automotive to pick up a 26' truck and return back to Smiths Furniture to pick up the auto transport. Now I'm a 1 1/2 hrs behind in getting my truck loaded. I believe U-Haul should compensate me for the time I had to pay men to load a truck when no truck was available.Bruce P.
