There was over a dozen snotty tissues in the cab when I opened the door. They were in the cup holders, in both inside door handles and on the dash. Something had been spilled all over the cup holder area and the tissues were “glued” to the dash. It was disgusting. I was also disappointed that I had reserved a truck at another store only for the people to call me the night before to tell me I had to go pick the truck up at a different location. They didn’t have anyone to drive it to the store I planned to pick it up from and I was flying in from across the country the next morning to load up and then drive 14 hours to my new home. So instead of picking up the truck and driving 2 miles to my storage unit I had to drive through Chicago rush hour traffic for 40 extra minutes. Overall an absolute disaster.
Donald RTruck was in bad shape transmission was slipping, gear shifter difficult, gate bar difficult! I thought it might not make it on the highway! Back of truck needed cleaning before it was used. I only checked cab and it was clean. My mistake not to check back, Ace Hardware was great and offered their apologies and adjustment.

Heriberto RThe truck was pretty beat up. It functioned fine but probably time to retire it. Multiple workers behind the counter when it was time to pickup the key but I waited 30 minutes because they could only take one customer at a time. Even though I was ready to go with all info updated on app I still had to wait- very poor service.
Ernesto Fassigned me a truck that had a check engine light on, I refused to take it. The second truck they gave me was pretty dirty, like it wasn't cleaned when it was returned to them No U-Haul representatives present, I believe they were all Ace Hardware employees
ROBERT HI rented u-haul on November 23rd at 2.42p.m and returned it at 3.56p.m but they charged me for two days of rental fees as November 23rd 2.42 p.m and returned date as November 24th 3.56 p.m so I got charged for two days of rental and 0.99 X 5.1 miles So this U-haul rental place is riping

ALLEN HFirst, you can make some kind of backup provision for your lousy website that shuts down for well over 2 hours, while I was attempting to rent a UHaul. I had to call the district manager because this location couldn't help me, despite having reserved my rental the day before, online. They did nothing to help my situation. Why? BECAUSE YOUR WEB SOFTARE FAILED YOU. And, subsequently me. Once I spoke to 'Fransisco' about my situation, he called the ACE and told them, just give him the keys, he's a loyal customer that's been renting for many years. They did exactly as he asked them to, and my day was not ruined. But, I will be very wary about reserving another UHaul in the future. Had this not been taken care of by the district / regional manager, I would have had a very bad day. FIX your goddamned software!!!

ROMAN ZI have already submitted a major problem I had . I needed a trailer hitch for the weekend. To get one I had to rent a pick up truck for a couple hundred dollars.THE TRUCK HAD NO HITCH!!! I had to buy one from ACE hardware for an additional $55. I complained to your agent who advised I save the receipt and bring it up when my final bill was issued…. I wrote a detailed report about this incident but as yet have not heard back from you.

Shawn MThey are not organized and the guy at the counter,that got my order didn’t focus on was he’s doing,i told him i booked it online and I’m just there to pick up the truck ,i keeped telling him and he also keep doing what he wants,and then after i return the truck they and they emailed me with my bill and it comes out they charged me double.so Last Saturday i called the uhaul and they told me they refund my money but i cant see taht they put it back to my credit card.

Bohdan HWhen I was finally finished with the U-Haul & was returning the truck that Norridge, from downtown Chicago, the drivers side window wiper flew off the moment I turned the wipers on. I retrieved the broken wiper from the middle of the road, in downtown Chicago. On that night, we experienced heavy rain downfall. I attempted to reattach the wiper, to no avail. So, I had no other option but to drive and return the truck to Norridge in heavy rain & with no wiper on the drivers side. When I finally made it to Norridge and returned the key in the overnight drop box, I placed to broken wiper on the dashboard. Right above the steering wheel. The broken wiper could not have been over looked. I'm very disappointed that I have never been contacted by U-Haul or and representative. Also disappointing is the fact that an invoice took 23 days to be received. I'm asking & expecting a discount for U-Haul failing to provide a safe truck in which to drive. And for such a delay in providing an invoice. Thank you Roger E Evans
