My name is Thomas Donaldson and I paid for this truck rental for my Stepdaughter Alicia Burlingame who was moving from Syracuse, NY to Augusta, Ga.. When we reserved the truck we were very clear that we needed to pick it up at the North Syracuse store. There was a reason for this request. It was decided by someone within your organization, between the time after we reserved the truck and when we went to pick it up to have the truck to be picked up at another location. It was also decided by someone within your organization not to let us know about this change. We were quoted for this rental in the amount of roughly $1490 but I was charged $1707. When we finally found the location where the truck was and paid for the rental, I was given a print out but no receipt showing the total. It wasn't until Alicia dropped off the truck was I made aware of the $200+ increase and with no explanation. On route Alicia informed me that the wiper blades did not operate as they traveled through a rain't storm. I asked her to be sure to have this documented when they dropped the vehicle off. Based on our experience would you suggest UHAUL to a friend?

Stop giving reservations for vehicles an trailers without checking if the site ur sending customer to ACTUALLY HAS the wanted equipment being rented!...this is second time I was told to go to one location to find out they really don't have what I reserved an sent some where else wasteing my time running around doesn't make me wanna come back! Rentals should be available when the location is opened in the morning not middle of the day hoping a customer returns the rental on time so that I can take it. Very poor planning on uhauls part as this was booked well in advance. You would think everything would be in order the day before not left to chance the day of.

someone actually be there to rent us the vehicle not a tow truck driver. was to get at 9 A.M., did not get till almost 10. tow truck driver had to as he put it, "blow up his phone" to answer his call to find out where truck key was. poor guy didn't know how to fill out forms on vehicle. very unsatisfied

The drop box for the key says NAPA, but doesn't say anything about dropping keys off for UHAUL rentals and there is no designated place to park the UHAUL truck.

The cargo van we rented from Northern Lights Auto location was great. We had rented 2 from Erie Blvd the experience at that location was horrible. We waited in line about an hour. The 1 order didn't go through as a corporate account and the other 7 rentals reserved all did. We always seem to have problems at that location

I was told at my drop off location that I would receive a reimbursement for the 20 mile difference that I paid for in advance. I have not received that payment and my receipt that was e-mailed said that there was a $0.00 balance, with no indication of reimbursement.

I was originally scheduled for a 17' truck, pickup at a closer location for an earlier time. I had no issues with this place, but with UHaul in general and the fact that apparently reservations are not guaranteed, which would have been nice to be informed.

Location didn't have the truck I reserved. Had to use a smaller truck. Although they did compensate me for the inconvenience, I believe the real problem was with Uhaul reservation services, not communicating to the store properly.

The truck had to be cleared of snow. Which ate into the clock of my rental time. Windshield wipers were summer weight. No snow brush. Wiper fluid didn't work so I had to pull over every ten miles to throw snow on the windshield in order to clean it.

I must say, that although this is not a 'U-Haul" facility, the representitive was completely professional, friendly, and accurate. It was a great experience and if/when I need to rent again...this is the place I would surely go. Thanks.

The drop off location was actually not brewerton, but midtown uhaul on erie blvd. the staff was not helpful with storage hours even after they were shown a form that we were sent listing them being open 7-7 mon-sun for storage access. they would also not do anything to help accomodate us or make our experience better. i am also submitting an additional form.

The guy that rented us the trailer was a real DICK, he hasnt a clue what Customer Service means. Not to mention my husband has a CDL and is a DRIVER TRAINER for one of the largest trucking companys in the United States and that Dickhead behind the counter told my husband he didnt know what he was talking about when it came to the trailer. Are you kidding me, we will never rent a trailer there again. Someone should really conscider who they let work for them when they have to work with the public.

It is my understanding that this location is managed by Northern Lights Auto, and UHaul has a contract with Northern Lights to rent out UHaul trucks. I have found out that the owner/operator of Northern Lights is a man by the name of Todd Young. It is Todd whom I worked with and it was Todd which made this experience so unpleasant. He was rude, lacked basic manners (such as saying hello to me, a customer) and acted at all times as if he was doing me a favor by renting me the truck (which I picked up a night early to better accomadate UHaul, and thus Todd's commission). First, Todd was reluctant to accomadate me at all. I arrived shortly after the office closed and called him to arrange a meeting so that I could get the truck for that Friday night. Since Todd was working that night it required little to no effort for him to provide me with the keys and the contract. Yet, Todd made it a point to let me know that he was somehow inconvenianced by this, and that he would have to go out of his way to help me. He also rudely pointed out that I did not see anyone at the office because it was closed. This was of course obvious as I stood infront of an empty building and did not require a such a rude explanation from Todd. Moreover, when he showed up, I introduced myself and he merely said "yeah" and walked right by my. I waited patiently for him to finish with his customer then he took care of me. He never once thanked me for my renting from him. This is poor customer service to say the least. 2. I called on Saturday to verify the time at which the truck needed to be returned by. I was fairly positive of the time, but given the steep penalty for late returns I wanted to make sure. Again, Todd made it a point to alert me that he was being inconvenianced. He told me that I must not have remembered the time he told me the night before, and continued to point out that he was away from the desk and that he would have to "walk all the way from the back" to help me. His tone during this conversation was the same as it was during my entire time dealing with him - dismissive and impolite. Again, this is poor customer service to say the least. 3. Todd accused me of intentionally returning the truck with less fuel than I had taken it with. I assure you I did no such thing. The truck was returned a hair under the previous mark, but this was only because I had no way of knowing how much to put in. You see, the truck has a floater, meaning the gage never rests put, unless the truck is stopped for a full minute or so (according to Todd). Given that I put over twenty dollars into the tank for forty miles of use, I feel that this was a reasonable, good-faith attempt to return it at an appropriate level. After Todd called the UHaul representative and was informed that I would not be penalized for the gas, Todd told me that I had "gotten away with it." 4. To summarize: I do not appreciate being made to feel as if an employee is doing me a favor by renting me
