Had a lot of difficulty starting the truck the day I rented. Was extremely cold but all day it gave me problems when I went to start it. Was given a truck with a cracked passenger mirror which is a bit dangerous driving such a large vehicle. The back door was frozen shut had to have one of guys inside pry open with a crowbar. Had they not been open when I picked it up I would have been out of luck. I would think that the place you are renting from should make sure everything is all set prior to pick up.

No issues. Reservation, pickup and drop off were smooth and hassle free. The truck operated well...only things annoying were alarm going off always when door was open and always started up in tow/haul mode.

The equipment was in excellent mechanical shape; however, the interior - especially the floor (which was laden with dirt) and the passenger seat (which was full of animal/pet dander) should have been vacuumed. The staff, though, was welcoming and friendly and I felt valued.

The Uhaul app must be fixed. It took over a hour to try to pick up the van, not including the 64 minutes I waited on hold for a representative to help me get past the error on the app. Then when dropping it off, the app again glitched and would not let me take photos of the odometer which stopped me from bringing back the van. I returned thinking my workcell phone is newer, perhaps there is something wrong with my personal cell. Nope another 45 minutes later and I took pictures of the whole can inside outside, just in case, and I just left the keys in the drop box.

Car dolly was fine. Staff was fine. But no packing supplies available at location contrary to Uhaul website Disappointing. Uhaul states there is a location in Bloomfield Ct. the never answer the phone so we drove there and yes again they acted like it was not a Uhaul location and zero supplies.

Picked up truck, very dirty inside, pet food all over along with debris in front section. Issues with vehicle: air conditioning stopped working on way home......very warm day. Driver side window sometimes would not close....got wet in rainstorm. Cruise control disengages without warning. Apprehensive if truck was going to make it home. Very disappointed . Would like/expect partial refund on my invoice. People at this location were not responsible for the problems. John Nomelli

Check engine light was on because of lack of timely maintenance on the vehicle. Ran rough and almost stalled at lights. Oil warnings and low tire pressure warnings came on.

I had ordered 6 blankets for this move and there were none in the vsn -- my fault for not checking before we left but then the next day after I returned it, they called to ask where the blankets were. He was very courteous when I told him there were none when I picked it up.

We have rented many UHAUL trucks over the past 5 years and we have never had as good an experience as we have with John (and Kevin) at Northwest Sporting Goods! There was a problem with our reservation (the truck we ordered was not available) but both men came together and figured out a solution to the problem so that we could continue with our move plans. John was especially helpful and went “Above and Beyond” for us. He was pleasant, helpful, caring and knowledgeable. We were so fortunate to have had such a competent employee helping us during a very stressful move. Thank you for helping us to go forward with our moving plans by coming up with a quick fix that made our move possible! We are SO grateful for your help and expertise.

This location was closed, however a lock box for keys was provided. We had to return the vehicle on line. The app had a step by step process which was good, however it did not work properly. Both my husband an I took the required pictures (too many) and tried several times to upload the required pictures. This part of the app did not work. We both called Uhaul individually, after about 15 minutes the representative who was very pleasant, than transferred my call. At this point,my husband hung up his phone while I was still holding. He tried a 4th time to return the truck using the app, only to be directed to another section requiring more photos. At this point I am still in the que over half and hour and counting. After about another 15 minutes my husband finally uploaded the required photos. I was still on hold . A few minutes later he received confirmation and I hung up. What would I have done if I didn't have a smartphone? I believe there was and additional $20 charge if this wasn't done. 😑

When I reserved the truck I also ordered 2 dozen blankets and a hand truck, neither of which they had on pickup. I was not notified prior to arrival. The gentleman at the store said he's been trying to get blankets for a month. He gathered what he had for me unfortunately it wasn't enough and several of my furniture pieces were damaged.

Once again the “corporate” 800# was absolutely useless!! We're in the midst of traveling cross country and U/haul has been atrocious. Worst service I have ever gotten in my entire life!! Fortunately, once again, the local location took good care of us and got us on our way. John Archelashi went above and beyond to make sure we were set. You are so fortunate to have such good people at “your locations “, because you as a company are absolutely terrible!!!!
