I made an online reservation and, due to a typo, was denied the vehicle when attending the UHaul location. The attendant required that I either attend a distant UHaul location to obtain the correct vehicle or take a larger and more expensive vehicle at my own cost. I ultimately relented and took the larger vehicle, as not doing so would have caused the entire day to be lost as a result. The truck was rented for 2 days. The work was completed faster than expected and I returned the truck approximately 23 hours after renting it. The attendant first tried to direct me to leave, refuel the vehicle fully, and then return (after the 24 hour mark had elapsed). I refused, indicating that any money saved by refueling would be lost with the charge for a second day. The attendant assured me that I would not be charged for the second day, due to returning it within 24 hours. I left with that assurance. Later in the day, I received an electronic receipt indicating a charge for 2 full days, despite having already returned the vehicle. This is unacceptable service and I am very displeased with the service received at this UHaul location. I will not return and I will share this experience with anyone who is considering using the Norval location.

Staff from Uhaul call center and location all great and empathetic. Now the negative; I booked the van for 7 am with anticipated lock box pickup. The location at 525 Guelph, Norval is located in a valley with no internet service. It’s physically impossible to access the Uhaul site, user account or after hours pick up. Calls to Uhaul call center were helpful and empathetic when I went a mile up hill to gain internet access. Unfortunately I could not access the lock box unless I was standing in front of it so I was jiggered. I had to wait til 9 am when location opened which threw off timing of move and return trip. Loved everything else except the location internet reception. Maybe staff could provide customers with wifi access to internet in advance and explain challenges For early and late pick up or drop off. Otherwise all good and valued service at right price point!
