I was sent to this location for a remote pick up using the UHaul app which continued to lock up on my phone.. After about 30 minutes, I was finally allowed to have the lock box number and password. What really upsets me is that my original pick up location was at the U Haul Center in Morton Grove. when I received a call the representative stated that it was a busy week and there were no trucks available in Morton Grove. Well When I was on my way to pick up the truck in Niles, I passed by the Morton Grove facility and drove into the lot. I counted 13 ten foot box trucks. After loading my truck, I needed to go back to Morton Grove because that's where the U Box was located that I needed to fill. At that time I again counted 13 of those ten foot box trucks on the lot. So WHY was I re-directed to another location that was open at 7:00 AM and sent to a location that was not open????? You began this email with the words DEAR VALUED CUSTOMER.....What does that really mean to you as a company? Again when I dropped off the truck, I had problems with the app and gave up. I dropped off the truck at 11:55 AM and put 23 miles on it. I received a call yesterday from a polite U Haul Rep who indicated some confusion that I was trying to drop off the truck 18 miles away instead of the drop point that was indicated. I'm sure that is because the app was tracking my trip back home in Mundelein Illinois. Why make a customer go through this when they have a truck and U Box at the same location, why make them go to 2 locations? My last experience was similar because I was again told that my original reservation was changed to a new location...A Hardware store in Skokie. Yes I went there and after driving only a mile my low tire alerts came on. In fact I had two tires that required significant inflation. does anyone check these trucks out? I've done 4 truck rentals in the past 4-5 months. Two were great and two really sucked. That's batting 500. why have your rep actually LIE to me on the phone. Is that any way to conduct a business transaction? U Haul never got this big by lying to customers so why start now?
