It was closed when I was told it would be open. I took the day off work to leave fort mcmurray to pick up in camrose.
Tonya KI've always had a good experience dealing with Nyback RV. Their service is cost effective, friendly and efficient. I would recommend it highly. As far as U-Haul goes as a company, I've dealt with other locations where their unit availability can be challenging, even when booking far in advance. I guess this can happen during times when everyone needs a vehicle or trailer at the same time. Example: I managed to cram a 20ft load into a 15ft van as the 20 footer I reserved well in advance was not available with 2 days notice. So, some room for improvement on that front.

Paige OMake sure that it actually has the proper amount of gas that it says it’s supposed to have. As the truck I had didn’t have near what it said it had and was under half a tank and it said it was almost 3/4full.

Brian CComplete opposite with this location as I pull in it’s got Uhaul sign and it’s clean and clearly visible. I reserved in and parked the truck, Crystal must of seen me pull in and she come outside to greet me. Pleasant and kind she also said truck looked a bit rough. She was very nice and understanding.

James DChange your rental policies. U-Haul needs to be more transparent up front with customers when issues arise, like having to cancel a rental for reasons out of the customers control and reembursements, especially picking up units in other counties here in Alberta.
daniel wThe uhaul app put us 2 hours behind-something that really matters when I needed to be out by a specific time. We talked on the phone with u hale rep Nancy, after the app wouldn't take 2 different credit cards. It took a third credit card and almost 2 hours later before the app accepted my payment. Nancy advised it the problem with app could have been due to a lot of ppl using it. Improve it then! Don't have a rep in an industrial area where cell signals are unreliable. I was so upset and disappointed in this experience-I will not use a place that only relies on an app (Nyback RV in Camrose) because it is closed on weekends. Would definitely not recommend

Twyla AThe blankets I asked for were not supplied, I asked for a 12 hour rental,was given 4 hours so were forced to pay a very steep extra charge, it took 2 hours and 5 customer service agents just to GET my rental. I have used uhaul for your yrs without issue but am highly disappointed this time
Twyla ATruck in cab was clean in box was dirty had to sweep and scrub floors as bugs were all over but other than that it was good.
Justin WCrystal from Camrose is absolutely brilliant lady, what a wonderful person, every single time I need to go back to rental place and change the order or truck unit she always greeted me with smile and helped me prepare for a long journey, she booked the newest 26 ft u-haul with just 10k mls for me because she knew it's a long drive from Alberta to Newfoundland and the last thing you need is broken truck in the middle of nowhere with the whole family. Truck pass the test without any problems. Crystal if you going to read this one day, we thank you so much again!

Jeffery SThis was not the fault of the location but of the people who booked it. I was not made aware that I had the location was closed. The reservation could not be paid for on line. And my card has been double charged.

Neal TType of equipment requested not available, additional charges not obvious, feels underhand. Website stated certain mileage free, which I took as free fuel for that mileage, but you still have to fill up. No one able to explain what free mileage means. So $150 for daily rental fee plus $50 to refuel. Still no idea what the free mileage means? Sounds like perceived value that isn’t there. Nothing against the helpful assistant at Nu ack however thieve are comments on how U-hail conducts its business. Where I have selected that I would not recommend the location, that is a reflection on Uhaul not the location itself

Mikayla T-Truck would not start. Battery was dead. Had to boost truck multiple times. Truck was not clean. Items and broken glass/plastic left in the cargo area App didn't work. Pick up/drop off took a long time and multiple calls to u haul. Dolly was not in unit but we were charged for it even after multiple calls to u haul. Unit only had 1/4 tank of fuel at pickup.
