My truck pickup location was changed 4 times within 12 hours of pickup so I had to go on a wild goose chase the morning I was moving. When I finally get my truck it looked like it did tours in Afghanistan and I was left with not even a 1/4 tank of gas. The tires looked bald to balding, the truck had difficulties starting & lurched often while driving oh and the check engine light came on about 20 miles into a 400 mile move. I have 1 more move left but I won't be using Uhaul!

Terry BOverall the whole U-Haul experience was poor. This location was closed when we arrived (as anticipated as it was on the weekend). The mobile app for returning the equipment would not work and continually crashed. Upon calling the help center I was on hold for a long time, only to be transferred to another department where the wait would be 35-45 minutes, without assurance that this department would have been able to actually solve to app issue. As the kids and spouse were becoming increasingly impatient with this overly complicated process, I opted for the addition charge of having having the U-Haul location in process the vehicle the next business day for an extra $20 fee. This seems fairly convenient for U-Haul to get to charge a fee when their own app doesn’t work, more or less forcing the hand of the customer. To add insult to injury, upon driving past the drop off location an hour later, someone had came out to in process the vehicle, leading me to believe that someone was there the whole time watching and listening to the struggles of dropping off the rental. Furthermore, having assured that I leave items better than I find them, I removed the trash from the cab that had been left by the previous renter and I filled the equipment up to full even though I received it at 7/8 at best. This was later highlighted when the worker who in processed the rental shortly after we dropped it off, for whatever reason, stated the fuel was not full, causing me to be charged and additional fee, which fortunately I had picture proof of it being full. Now I had to call and and waist more of my time to recoup those unnecessary losses. Overall this has been a far cry from an acceptable customer experience and I will not be utilizing nor would I recommend U-Haul moving forward.

Michele HTruck windows were extremely dirty. Stuff from the previous renter in the truck. Was not told it was a mobile pickup which caused lots problems and the loss of an hour of work time I was paying for help, the combination lock had to be spun 14 times before it unlocked, was required to have it back again at 8 am in Milton location on Monday that didn't open till 9am. Had to do mobile dropoff which didn't work through the app until the third try. Nothing was good about this rental except that we got stuff from point A to B. Your Mobil pickup and drop off is abysmal. If I am to rent from you again, Im calling fir my reservation to be sure nothing mobile is involved. That you fausted this on me with no notice, no explanation, or information was unacceptable. AND there was no hand truck in the truck. Refund due!
