I originally reserved truck many days from a location closer to me and the day before they called me to say it’s not available at that location and had me to pick one up almost 30 mins from me. It was nothing I could do and I did not complain, I rented truck and returned it timely.

UHaul has a lot to be desired! First, we reserved a UHaul in Valparaiso, Indiana several weeks prior to our move. Two days prior to our move, we were called and told we had to drive 35 minutes to Gary, Indiana, which we did since there wasn't another option. We were supposed to have a dolly, which we never received. (I did get a refund on this) We were also charged $15 for safe move insurance, which we said we did not want and didn't realize until we were looking at the bill at our drop off location. I was told to call corporate - they removed the $15 dolly payment, but we are on the hook for the insurance that THEY added even after we said NO! This was incredibly disappointing and after speaking with friends, I realize UHaul pulls these sort of moves all the time! So Sad!
Jeffrey LNo blankets, or equipment to rent. Also, the reservation location was changed 3 times. The staff at location did not know much about the uhaul system.
