It wasn’t the drop off place’s fault but I had to take it 20 miles out of my way just to drop off and felt there should have been some sort of discount for taking it to another location than the town I went to

Definitely make sure it is KNOWN that a deposit is required before booking! I want aware.. and took me by surprise. Other than that I’m fine, and possibly give a little more miles… us people are paying a decent amount even just for one day.. and only getting very little miles.. which then makes it as we don’t get our deposit back.. seems unfair… and could make people stop using U-haul all together..

The only flaw was that the app would not work. That is not surprising as cell service in the area is sometimes a problem. A quick call was all it took for the staff to process the return. Thanks!

You need jack stands on the u haul Box trailers. With back problems and not being able to lift it is very hard to try and hitch it up or unhitch it.
