Was given the wrong truck size, smaller than I wanted so everything didn't fit in the truck but was billed for the larger truck and returning the truck was a horrible process was not told they closed at 5 got there at 520pm because they were closed needed to have a internet return but where the drop is the there was no internet signal, the whole process was horrible spent 30 mins on the phone with one of your agents to get the truck returnedBrandon O.

My truck drive well but was extremely dirty and had bed bugs in both the inside of the truck and the blankets which were filthy and bug ridden. I spent 7 hours cleaning everything the night before my move. You need to improve your cleaning protocol and make cleanliness an important standardSheila L.

This location was extremely helpful. Because of my 14 day quarantine requirement I could not drop the trailer off. This group decided to help me and set-up the manager to pick-up the trailer at my home 1/2 hr away. Thank you for your high level of customer service!!! Well done!James O.

The truck did not sound or preform very well. And the cab was dirty. Other than that, great experience, staff is super friendly. Location is spotless clean. But for the rental price of a truck the cab was unacceptable. Dusty, cigarette ash on floor.Kevin R.
There were no trucks located at 2116 Hwy 325. There were no trucks at 2285 Hwy 325. I noticed and picked up a truck from 2347 Hwy 325 by driving further down the highway past the 2116 & 2285 listed locations. I would recommend the 2347 Hwy 325 location! It would be best for everyone involved if the correct information were given to potential future customers, as soon as possible.Rolf P.

The staff at the store were great. Friendly and fast. The staff in the call center are not very good. They switched my location with less than 24 hours notice. Was told they have 24/7 check in with phone, apparently not. Had to get rides and switch things around last minute.Kevin R.

Honestly? Just make it cheaper.........rented a cargo van, to transport a secondhand couch that cost me $250 to buy.......needed the cargo van to go fetch it and wrestle it up some steep stairs.....cost me 170 for 24 hours....everyone else wins!!......:=) How about a SENIOR'S DISCOUNT? I was set up to self pick up my truck and when I got to the location the store was closed due to covid-19 and I could not connect to my data or internet to complete the self check out.. I had to drive back to my house and call a rep. The rep said I would have to rebook. So we went back trying to get a connection because we needed to move yesterday. Still couldn't connect and thought that we were going to have to rebook. I called back again and they told me there was someone at the location all I had to do was knock on the door and they would help me out. I had been there twice already for an hour period trying to pick up my truck. My whole move was put off by two hours and I am going to be calling to get a discount on my charges because it was an utterly ridiculous experience.Kandace K.

Please, note that this location no longer exist!!! It moved and was located at 2285 Hwy 325 for a while... It is now located at 2347, NS-325, Oak Hill, NS B4V 0E6... All very close to each other but could be quite confusing if you're not a local. Same people and same great service however...Jean-Claude L.

There seemed to be some miscommunication between the guy at the pick up site and the online arrangements. The person that we spoke to at U-Haul told us we could pick it up between 9AM - 12PM but the guy came in and was waiting for us at 8:30 AM, on a Sunday. He later called to see if/when we were coming and we set 11 AM for the pick up time and he was there. Everything went smoothly but it sounded like he was told that we would be there 8:30 AM to pick it up. I felt bad for him having to sit around and wait for us because something got lost in the communications. Other than that, excellent equipment and service and will be back again the next time we need to move someone.Leon M.

Your website was down when I tried to return my rental the evening before it was due to be returned plus your app was not functioning properly either. Calling your 800 number meant being on hold for over 30 minutes too and your live chat function was offline. I emailed uhaul and was told I would have to pay $20 for an early return, instead of returning my rental on the Sunday when my drop off location was closed.?? Your rep suggested I return my rental on Monday instead and pay for an extra day which made no sense at all. I won't be using U-Haul ever again.Mark J.
Service was slow. Only one person was there to do u haul while I was waiting for my turn the guy asked another employer to check the mileage and when he came back in he never said anything to me. So while the other customer left another customer was looked after before the employer knew my mileage was in front of him. I have been waiting 35 minutes from the time the employer was with a customer...understandable...but the took another customer while he wasn't finish with me! No problem was encountered on return of the vehicle and the personnel were all courtous and helpful. The U-Haul storage location is at 2116 Hwy 325 outside of Bridgewater in Oakhill, but, the main depot resides at 2285 Hwy 325, Oakhill. May I suggest that returnees are more aware that they should return a vehicles to 2285, not, 2116!daryl M.

The sales person said that I can hook the trailer on myself and to come get help if needed. Outside I met a very nice gentlemen working on u haul equipment who said that U haul has to hook it on for liability reasons. He did it for me and also took pictures and explained the in s and out s Please instruct your staff and customers in a way that in case of a problem the insurance coverage is not in question.Matthias L.

When we returned the van, the key drop says to go online and say that the van has been returned. However, when we rented it out, she said just put the keys in the box. It caused some confusion and we tried to use data to go online which didn't work. Then at home we could not find a place to do this either. I feel that it may be standard practice at other UHaul sites but not this one. at any rate some clarity would be good. Thank you!Shirley H.

Rented pick-up truck could not make it up a grassy road beside home. After 3/4 hour of digging and pushing by 3 men I called local dealer who offered no help but to call U-Haul 800 number. Called the 800 number and was on hold for 20 minutes before I gave up. Thankfully, a neighbour arrived with traction sheets that allowed me to get up the drive and return truck on time. Two wheel drive truck with no pull attachment at front was useless. Local dealer and 800 service was useless.John M.

Your online form for the rental info seemed to be difficult for the person to aquire and work with. This took approximately 15 minutes to complete. They mentioned that the U-haul site was difficult to work with. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I will use this location again.STEVE H.
the lady inside the pickup was great. the dudes helping were not, the trailer was broken and did not have the safety latches. they tried to rent me an unsafe trailer, also the alignment for the truck was very very out of sync and was hard to keep on the rd.Stephen M.
