My only negative experience is that the original trailer location i reserved at didn’t have the trailer on my reservation day, so 2 days prior to the reservation i was asked to pick up at another location in town, which was fine. Then on reservation day i was told the location had to close unexpectedly and i was asked to pickup the trailer at a location 35 mins away. While i was given $50 compensation, it is still an inconvenience

Bruce HThe young man who helped us was very nice but didn’t get our reservation totally correct, he had it for only 6 hours instead of 24 as we discussed. This could have been easily fixed. When we received a call from some lady somewhere else she was rude, said we cannot reserve a specific size trailer on the day we did for another day. I told her we actually went into the location and they told us we could. I told her we did our due diligence to make sure we did everything correct. She told me she didn’t know what to say but this could not happen. After telling me several times we couldn’t have the trailer we wanted at the location we wanted she finally said she would call the location and call me back. When she called me back all she said was we had the trailer for the day we want, for 24 hours and hung up. She was totally rude the whole time. If it weren't for the nice people in both the Ocean Shores and Kelso locations we would never want to use UHaul again.
PAUL SI was left with 1/4 tank of gas to begin the drive...what happened to full tanks? Spending $113+ to fill it up off the bat was a shock. I had also requested a dolly, none was provided. Should have checked for those before I left the lot. Now I know. I didn't use the app because of previous posts saying it didn't work.
DIANNA MI had a bit of a hiccup on my original booking due to the vehicle I reserved not being turned in on time by the previous customer but not the fault of the location. Got back on track a day later which was fine because I'm retired and flexible. Kelly was very knowledgeable and made sure the 2nd reservation was good-to-go, and I was able to complete my mission without a hitch. Thank you Kelly!

Mark DWhen the fist truck located in Ocean City at Sunshine Market was defective the associate provided good customer service by arranging a truck from a different location, albeit further away. The alternative truck was larger than the one I needed but I was not charged extra for the size. It would have been excellent had the miles difference been considered and discounted since it added needless extra miles.

Chris HThe location was a perfect place for me to pick up the vehicle. The customer service provided by Kelly, (hopefully I remembered her name correctly) was amazing. She answered all our questions and was very patience when I thought I was going to get a smaller truck. I decided to keep the 26’ truck but she took time to show me the smaller trucks and explain the difference in size.
ALFRED RThe vehicles are being sent out with no gas. We only had 1/8 tank and had to put gas in immediately. The rental facility stated gas tanks are being drilled/damaged and gas is being syphined out. This is 2nd time we have had a problem with gas issues in past 3 months. Somehow, there has to be another solution rather than sending trucks out empty.

Billie AThere wasn't enough staff to handle the hotel and the UHaul side of the business. Long on hold times when calling in. Trailer license plate didn't match my paperwork so there was a long delay there.
JANET PWe returned it via mobile and it took longer than just speaking to someone. There was a lot of pictures required. Not my favorite way to return a U-Haul.
Nicole SThe tow thing was stuck on . When you go down a hill and touch the brakes it shifts down, touch them again and shifts down again and so on the first hill it shifted down 3 time and i thought the engine was going to blow. Sto counter i shifted into neutral and road the brakes down the hill.

MADLINA NWhen we went to pick up our truck, it was filthy. We opened the back of the other 26' truck available and cockroaches or very healthy bed bugs ran everywhere. We were told if we cleaned the dirty one, we would receive a discount at return. We cleaned the truck prior to putting our things in it, had it for less than 24 hours, moved 3.6 miles, and returned it with gas and spotless. At the return, we were told they had no way to give us a discount. The person who originally told us he'd give us one was called to the office and he said he was just a maintenance guy and would try to give us a 15% discount. They charged our card for over $115.00. And, of course, no one can answer why. He also told us they took the truck that had the bugs in it away and bombed it. But it was sitting right there next to the other trucks and a hotel. Super unhappy with the random, much higher charge, the condition of the trucks available at the time of my reservation pick up, and the costumer service received.
KIRSTEN JI used a local truck for an hour and brought it back in the same condition as I received it. Unfortunately, I was charged a $25 "cleaning fee," and have yet to be able to resolve this with the location.

Reese AThe truck smelled like the land fill. The previous renters obviously used it to haul garbage. There were remnants on the ramp when I pulled it out. I had to hose out the back and spray it with deodorizer to be able to use it. The cab was also gross with some kind of brown staining on the seats.

PRUDENCE AMy only complaint is based on reserving a 15' truck, getting called that it wasn't available but I'd need to commute 15 miles out of town to get that truck, for my in-town move. That wasn't going to fit my needs, so I had to agree to a 20' truck for $10 more fee, and then get called the day of my pickup that my only available option was a 26' truck. I begrudgingly accepted as that was the only option available for my in-town move the day I had reserved.

Edmund JTrailer was fine — however, tires were both dangerously under-inflated, but this was only noticeable under a load. When I checked, one tire had 9psi — it was supposed to be up to 65. Overall the ease and friendliness of the staff was great, but please make sure the safety measures aren’t overlooked.

Harold HI had requested pads when I booked the reservation as I was moving musical equipment. When I arrived, I was told there were none. On a trip to the bathroom, I discovered pads in a back room. We were charged for 5 dozen when there were only 3.5 dozen. I had requested 10 dozen.
