There were supposed to be 3 dozen furniture pads and a furniture dolly in the back of the truck and they were not there. I called the phone number to the location and the guy told me there was nothing he could do about it. I had to drive across town to another location to get the equipment I needed while movers were waiting at my house. No one offered anything as a result of this as far as taking anything off of my invoice or at least Knocking off the extra mileage that I had to drive to pick up the equipment that I need in in order to move.

Timothy TNo necessarily this location, but my overall reservation was horrible. The trailer I reserved weeks in advance was supposed to be picked up from the 7060 Winchester location. It continued to say this on my U-Haul app until I went to pick up the trailer. I was then told the trailer had been sent to Olive Branch location. I had to drive there to finally get the trailer. Then I was told the 10 moving blankets I reserved were not in Olive branch but were back at the Winchester location. So I had to return there to waste away in a 30 min line again. I was told to return the trailer Saturday (the next day) to the Winchester location. At 5:15 PM when I show up to 7060 Winchester to drop the trailer off, I am told they can’t accept the return. The Olive Branch location is closed at this time. Finally they accept the trailer and charge a 1 way additional charge, which I am told will be removed from my account. Worst professional business experience I have ever dealt with.

I was redirected to the uhaul on Mendehall in Memphis. They would NOT rent to me because I was using it in Mississippi. So they referred me to olive branch. I’m certainly glad they did. The service was excellent in Olive branch.

thomas vWarn customers that there are dogs in the building. The dogs were beautiful and people friendly, but I fear them due to a bad experience that I had as a child. Luckily, my reaction was very calm and poised 🤣🤣🤣. One of the ladies recognized my expression 😳 and put him up right away. It was a great experience, overall!👌🏾☺️

John BMake sure the U-Haul is actually clean for the next person. I picked up my U-Haul and the trailer had used basking robbins spoons and French fries in the back. The check engine light was on. The driver side door barely closed. The lock on the back was broken. But I get charged extra for not having time to go get the tank filled when I wasted lots of time cleaning up the U-Haul so I can use it for my stuff and fixing the lock on the back.

Just feel like we were taken advantage of. As for the company we picked it up and delivered to, the lady in the office is super sweet.

hal kFirst time towing and when I show up, wouldn’t let me use my 17/8 ball hitch, said it had to be 2 inches. I run to autozone to buy a tow hitch that I dont think I needed. Once I come back, plate cover was blocking access to hook up wires. When I asked for a tool I was told I had to run back to autozone to buy a tool. Then I was told I would have to buy an adapter. I asked if they had and they said no. Not sure why supplies were not on hand to support customers! Needless to say, what I thought would be a easy experience turned out to be a nightmare. Will never use uhaul again!

Samuel JI told the clerk that I only was using my discover card to hold the reservation that when I dropped off the rental I would use my debit card. She said NO problem and that I automatically charges you 4 days but when you drop it off they will credit back the difference. And I gave her the address we were going to drop it off at. Well I get to the location only to find out she charged my discover card and she didn’t put the location I told her so the clerk at the drop off had to call to have the drop off changed and that there is no refund coming back to my card even though we didn’t even have it 24 hours. I was lied to all the way around. I don’t think it is right. And when the manager called me they offered 20 dollars which is no help to what I went through.

nathaniel lWe had to go 10 miles out if our way because the local uhaul 3 miles away did not have our truck in the morning if our move. Inconvenient.
GREGORY TThe location didn't have any furniture dolly or any furniture pads for me to work with. I had to drive to another location. The people were very pleasant there though and the truck was great. The men helping didn't really know how to hook everything up, but they were kind enough to work with me to figure how to hook up the trailer.
gary aThe reasons I listed the location as poor is because when booking the reservation I was under the impression that someone would be there to sign me over the truck. I did not receive any information that I needed to do a self checkout that day. The other is for not notifying me that this location did not have any of the requested equipment I asked for... I sort of requested it for a reason. Would have been nice to at least know they didn't have it instead of just finding out at that moment and getting the small refund.
