Cheryl SAbsolutely horrible customer service, They charged me for a messed up floorboard in the back of the uhaul that was already and on top of that one of the workers at this location hit my personal vehicle with a uhaul truck when he was backing it up and they did nothing about it im going through a huge headache triying to file a claim to get my vehicle fixed

SHANNON BRate is too high. I used the truck 1 day. I did 300 miles. There should be a special rate for a round trip. Might have to try Ryder next time.

Daniel BThe old lady in the office is rude, and she overcharged me. Then the truck I rented was dirty UPON renting it. It was the only one left and I needed it so I took it. The lady told me the previous renters left dog sh**, furniture and broken dirty items in the truck when they returned it. When I brought the truck back, it was empty, and exactly the way it was upon rental. I only had the truck for 6 hours if that. I was also charged for safemove when I declined that protection!!!!! These are unauthorized charges & this is exactly why I HATE renting with uhaul! I have filed a dispute with uhaul and my bank over these charges.

Stephanie PThe lady working is rude and would rather find a reason to Not rent you a vehicle than rent you one. I had to return the vehicle after hours (Sunday) and called uhaul because I couldn’t get the online service to work for the after hour return. I called and was told there would be no fee and she would put that in the notes. Well guess what today I get a “Return after hour fee”...... I’m hoping they refund me and then I can say they are an alright business. Otherwise I will never recommend them they have to many fees it’s already expensive to get a rental.

SECRET KWas told my pickup location was in Yuba City. Drove to Yuba city to find out it was in Corning instead. When I picked up the truck in Corning there was a bunch of trash in the back of the truck(empty beer cans included).

William LI have no complaints about the pickup location at all. Person there was very friendly and helpful. My HUGE complaint is in regards to how my reservation was handled by reps over the phone. I had made this reservation over a week in advance, to pick up a truck in Chico and drive to Folsom. Less than 24 hours before this pickup was to be made, I got a call saying that there would be no truck for me in Chico. ---This is after we made plans for several helpers to be there to load this truck the next morning. the person on the phone seemed unconcerned about that situation. Her only other suggestion was that I could pick up a truck in Redding (another 1:30 drive away) which would have severely impacted our moving plans. It was either that or I could cancel the reservation(!!!!) I called back and got a different Rep who was extremely helpful and offered that we could pick up a larger truck in Corning, at the same rate, and that they would cover the difference in the distance between Corning and Chico. Although it meant a significantly longer drive to get to the pickup point, it was better than no truck at all. I was thankful for her concern and helpfulness. But I am absolutely appalled at the cavalier attitude of that first rep, and that your company would so casually decide to yank a reservation and basically tell me, "tough shit." And from our frantic phone calls to other rental agencies, we were told the this is common practice at U-Haul. Is this really the way you typically do business? ---If so, I will never bother to reserve through UHAUL again.
Ed RCharged me more gas than it was in the uhaul , she didn't understand that the uhaul was tilted more to one side so the gas was showing less ,she charged me $ 50 dollars more I'm very disappointed about that .

Roberto gThis drop off apparently is never actually staffed by someone; drop offs happen via a crappy web interface that doesn't work properly much of the time. It took me nearly an hour and two phones to return the truck due to the web site failures; and I got a day late charge that had to be paid before the interface would check me out. Yay!
