trailer wasn't swept out by previous user, customer service took a picture of the connection but did not verify proper connection of cables, fortunately i use trailers regularly that i know the proper connection, many others that use U-haul do not, only used this location because original pickup location didn't have reserved equipment available

Bill BThe pick-up and drop-off was fine, but the uhaul customer service representatives the last 2 times I have rented were super rude and hung the phone up on me, I will use another service from now on because nothing ever gets done about it.
rachel sReservation included a dolly and 24 furniture pads. When we checked the truck, the furniture pads were missing but dolly was inside. We went to ask the clerk and he said that our reservation didn’t show pads or a dolly and went to try and take the dolly from us. I told him no, it was on the reservation and we needed it. He eventually let us go with the dolly but said they had no furniture pads to have us use. Then upon drop off- we are charged $192 for “missing furniture pads” WHEN WE NEVER GOT THEM. and turns out he was incorrect in insisting our reservation/receipt did not show the pads.

Ricky LThe person on this end was the only person attending the store, which means she had to handle regular customers in addition to serving me when I returned the truck. When I first arrived with the trailer attached to the truck, she had the nerve to ask me to back the trailer into a spot between two other U-Haul trucks. I was not expecting to be asked to do something like that, and also I can imagine what would have been the case if I had damaged something in the process. She then told me to position the truck and trailer in another location, and also expected me to unhitch the trailer, which we did together. Later that day when I returned the truck , her software on her "computer" wasn't working and my account was zeroed out. After about 15 minutes of trying to get her "computer" to work, she then called U-Haul, she had to wait 10-15 minutes for a response (which means I had also to wait) and then she was told she had to call the North Carolina U-Haul because I had rented it in NC -- and then she looked at me surprised and asked me if I had brought the truck up from NC -- this was after I had repeatedly tried to draw her attention to my written contract. Then when she called the NC U-Haul number, she (I) again had to wait another 10-15 minutes, and then she was told she had yet to call another number. AT THIS TIME, I WAS SO FRUSTRATED THAT I SIMPLY WALKED OUT.
Joe SThe owner called me back well after I had left to come unhook the trailer that she didn’t know how. I asked multiple times while I was there if it was parked in a good place and if she needed anything. When I told her I as not coming back to help because I was not close at all she informed me she was going to charge me extra money. I called U-Haul and explained but if you can not unhook a trailer or move a big truck you don’t need to be renting the equipment.

Timber MI only drove the truck 30 miles and at return they realized they made a mistake when I originally picked it up and said they would correct it. I just received the receipt and it was not corrected and I have been charged $2,000
Bryant PI returned the vehicle and the next day had a police officer calling me that someone broke into the location. Talk about GHETTO

Ariel DThe lady was nice. The location was remote. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you live around there. This wasn’t my original pick up spot. U-Haul talked me into changing for a discount and extra mileage due to the remote pickup. They wanted the truck relocated.
