Uhaul is awful and i'll nevwr rent from them again.. forgot my dolly, no attendant in store in sight..Home Depot rentals is the way to go..Booooooooooo.

Hi, Unfortunately I had a really hard time first finding the truck (because there is no clear sign at the door saying that you are actually at the right location, the U-Haul sign is tiny!) and then opening it. The lock was frozen in over night and is so close to the door, that you can't even turn the number wheel from both sides. So I had to warm the heavy metal lock up with my hands until the ice had melted. After that the windows of the truck were completely iced up and there was no ice scraper (at least I couldn't find one). Thanks, -Markus

Locations is dirty and dark, smells bad, lots of garbage/litter to walk through when picking up/inspecting the vehicle, dead rat left on the ground. Van was not clean when picked up, and there were olive pits or some other food waste in the passenger door.

So, I did receive the link for completing my online check in half an hour after my rental was supposed to start (I clicked the link for online check in 20min ahead of time). I had to go threw all the steps that I went threw by making the reservation again (taking pictures of myself and my drivers license). I had to wait another 15 min till someone online approved and called the back up person. I understand covid is a difficult situation but I'm sure the whole thing could have been handled more efficient and without delays.

I got there at 12:10 and it took almost an hour for the whole process. He originally forgot to record the mileage on the truck so he told me I had to wait outside in the rain since he was the only one there. He took his time with everything even after making us wait. The last thing that kinda ticked me off was that when I first arrived he was outside in the truck and I told him I was there to rent the truck. I figured he would've grabbed the key and given it to me inside. Instead he left it in the truck and that alone made the process longer since I had to wait for a key code and the lock itself was hard to open. To the point where I almost just walked inside to cancel everything and look for a new location. When I opened it was really dirty inside the truck. I would not go back here or recommend to anyone else.

Wish the rental trucks came with an AUX cord or something to play music off of our phones instead of just listening to the radio.

My issue was having to wait thirty minutes for my u haul truck as the previous customer was late. Also having no data made it impossible to be at the truck when I had to make the return online, I had to go home and was told I would have to pay a twenty dollars fee for not doing so. Therefore I had to ring u haul to sort out said issue.

I was surprised how clean the vehicle was. Pick up location was a store very close to my house that I'd never gone in that had stuff that I would use. I'm sure I will be back!

Sam feng should not operate a u-haul facility. We were charged over $800 for damages we didn't do. He admitted to a third party of ours he doesn't take new photos of the van, he just uploads the old ones from his phone. I spoke with 3 different people and got no where. It's now being filed with the better business bureau for further investigation. We rent over $10 000 a year in vans and we will never return to u-haul.

Within 10 blocks of departing this franchisee, the LOW FUEL alert light came on. I barely made it to my first location only 5km away.

U-Haul app is a major accomplishment. Ran into an issue interacting with my phone's camera.. There are a lot of steps to checking in and out with the app, including questions and taking pictures.. Set aside at least 15 minutes at pick up and drop off.. Otherwise, it's a marvel. Vehicle was new, in excellent mechanical shape, but the interior was slightly dirty with leaves and dried mud. Wasn't a problem. Be prepared to walk two city blocks at this location to pick up the key, because the truck is parked in an alley out back of the store but there's no access through the store. You have to walk around.

This location is great! the rep there was very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Would highly recommend him to friends when they decide they need uhaul vehicles to move stuff around.

Improve operating hours. It is a computer repair shop with one UHaul van. They are closed Sundays and open at 11am. These working hours limit pick up and drop off times. The person is nice, but made a big mistake in inputting my closing mileage. I was overcharged by $100 but UHaul made it up right away, Thank you.

It was unclear how to drop off vehicle after hours. Lock box didn't work after many tries. When I called the agent to say I had been delayed. He said he would call me back after he checked with uhaul but thought I could just pay for another day. He never called back. Uhaul called me back just before the return time and told me I would be penalized $100. Doubling my bill was not an option if I had known I could have made it back on time. When I did return I spent 45 minutes trying to make the lock box work

The van didn't have a lot of power, but it certainly did the job. The customer service was excellent.

Clean the van, it smelled like a wet dog. The vehicle had a stabil track issue the check engine light was on, did not have much power driving while the stabil track warning was beeping, needs repair.

I was overcharged for kilometers. The invoice says right amount of km , but I was charged more than it should be. The representative was friendly and nice.

We were charged for two rental periods when we used one. Not given any instructions for after hours returns other than to drop the key off in the box.

I book the van for 10am-6pm(8hr) amd self pick, the day before appointment the location call me for security reason I have to do face to face pick, then they inform me because their store open at 11 so I have to go there at 11, which means my condos moving and elevator reservation only have half left( I booked 10-12 for my condo's elevator, appointment changes have to be done 24hrs ahead). when I arrived location the manager is late for 15mins which really screw up my moving. location manager called me again at 6:00 pm to inform me I.have to return the van by 6:30 because their store close at 6:30 I end up with only used 6hr 45mins for a reservation of 8hrs. NOT ACCEPTABLE

Normally I would have given a 5 star review, but unfortunately store staff person was delayed by traffic that morning SO the location wasn't open at the posted time (10:30am), and not at the rental time (11am) either -- once he did arrive, the rental went pretty smoothly -- van was immaculate! I don't think he knew he needed to check us back in (we returned the van early, after 2 hours use, but the rental wasn't completed until later that afternoon when I called him). It all turned out well when we were offered a credit as compensation for our difficulties! Thank You! .... Yes, would rent again.... (and would make sure they have my cell phone # so they can reach me)
