There was no gate code on the return and I had an hour of my time wasted. Then was charged a 45$ fuel surcharge

The only place to drop the truck is behind a gate and they do not provide the gate code. We dropped on a Sunday and it took multiple calls to finally get the someone to give us a code. Total aggravation and time waste. Top it off with I received a mileage overage charge that failed to include the 52 miles I’d already paid for and then it gets worse. Your website and app wouldn’t allow us to mark the truck returned. But no worries, only 20 minutes on hold and they noted it on file and waived the convenience fee. Which is ironic, as there was nothing convenient about anything with this experience. I will use a different truck rental company in the future after all this.

I returned a 12’ trailer and was told to park it in a parking stall that was unfortunately at an uphill angle. Had a very hard time getting it off the hitch and was barely able to stop it from rolling into my car. The attendant admitted it would have been better to for him to tell me to park it in flat gravel parking lot in the back.

The on site manager is welcoming and efficient. I very much appreciated him getting me checked in promptly. The directions could be better as it looks like they’re sending you to the dump, which in the best case scenario, you wake up in a bath tub full of ice missing a kidney, but, it’s on the same road as the dump….what are you going to do? Very well run operation in my experience with it.

The attendant was very professional and helpful. The map data to your location using Google is wrong. Get with Google to fix how your location shows up so that you can be found easily.

The after hour instructions were incomplete. It’s a fenced in area. There was no temporary access code provided to enter location in order to drop of rental. Had to locate a hotel for the night and then return in the morning. UHaul costed me an additional $135 for this mistake. Would appreciate a $135 refund for the rental and for UHaul update their after hours drop off procedures to include a temporary access code for those dropping of rentals after hours. Thank you for your support and understanding. When will we be receiving the refund?
