Gas cap would not unscrew and couldn't put in the 2-3 gallons it needed to be as I got it. Also a stabilization light went on to service it. Hi! This was overall a great U-Haul experience, and I've had quite a few. It was not obvious where the odometer reading is located on the dashboard. The vehicle was in need of tire service, so perhaps the error message was temporarily in place of the odometer. Not sure! The vehicle was very clean, but I checked off "no" because of the tire service alert, which made me a little nervous, but was glad to be just driving locally. The guy who handled my check-in was very friendly and laid-back, and would recommend this place to a friend! I would just suggest taking photos of the dashboard before and after using the vehicle, but I would recommend that for any vehicle or truck rental in general. Thanks again!Elaine P.

The truck is shaking when driving. If there was a bump in the road the car flew to one side. It needs work. I wiped Down the steering wheel and seat and the wipe was black when I was done. With Covid I would have expected it to be clean. I had to pick up the truck online and get walked through the process to get the key. No one was there at 9:00 am. Not sure if this is usual or I am not used to it being online but I prefer face to face.Amy C.
Owles Nest LLC, was very unorganized and not helpful. The most stressful part of my day yesterday was picking up the Uhaul. I was told an employee was supposed to be there, and no one was there, making this process very difficult. I was given the wrong key and passcode 4 times. It would have been so much easier if someone was there to help me. I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone.Isabella D.

Windshield washer fluid. This is something I have dealt with a many occasions with uhaul over the past 15yrs. Washer fluid is indispensable when there is snow and salt on the roads. Renting a vehicle without it is weak customer service. I am not railing this specific location, more uhaul overall.JOHN L.
The van I rented for one day displayed warnings on the dashboard that the tire pressure monitor was not working and that washer fluid was low- in fact it was empty and the windshield was very dirty. I had to clean it myself. The people working at the location did not seem to know the difference between a dolly, which I ordered, and a hand truck, which was left in the truck. They got it sorted eventually but it took some time. The location appeared to be the site for several businesses; a flag store and a copier/printer rental or repair business in addition to U-Haul.MICHAEL S.

Arrived to find the building closed with no one there. Had to call to find out the person was working remote, was given an attitude about it when there was no signage and we were not told by uhaul when they informed us where to pick up the truck. Not just this location, whole haul rental experience is pitiful. I haul also charged $9 extra for gulel when I left the tank exactly how I received it. Terrible roadside assistance support. Van had low pressure in RR tyres and it took 1.5 hours to get back to how much psi I should use to air the tire. Will never rent from Uhaul and would put my experience in social media soon.Sukanta N.
The truck itself was fine but I had lots of issues with finding the place itself (there's no clear uhaul sign) and then the owner sent me the wrong email/text a couple of times making check in very difficult (I had to call them many times). The key lockbox is also not intuitive at all. It ended up being fine but in my previous uhaul experiences, I've had a way easier time picking up the truck.catherine H.

The online reservation, checkin and key pick up processes are unpleasant experiences. There is a lot of redundancy in each step and some of the instructions do not match the actual steps you need to take in order to get in the truck and get going. It took an excess of 40min to perform the â€œself service pick up.â€Beth M.

First we reserved for a company in NJ closer to us. You automatically changed us to this location (twice as we canceled the first time). When we tried to call we were on hold for over a half hour (twice) with no answer. The new location was further and we had to pay a toll to get there. Since we were paying by the mile, we didn't like that. Then we were switched from counter service which we asked for to using the app to pick up with no way to change it back. We had already preregistered online for the original location and had to do it again in the app. The truck smelled like an ashtray in the cab and was dirty. Our experience using Uhaul was nightmarish, and their lack of communication caused major issues during my moving process. I reserved a truck ahead of time, and I was told my a representative that it would be ready at a particular location and it wasn't. I ended up having to go to a different location in another state hours later to get it, and it delayed everything. That's not this location's fault, that is the fault of whoever is in charge of scheduling at Uhaul's call center. This is the second time has happened, and I will be doing everything I can to avoid using Uhaul again in the future.ASHLEE C.

The woman at the checkout just took the keys and said thank you. Didn't go and look at the truck or mileage or anything, which is what I'm used to when I return a U-haul. I said is there anything else? And she said â€œno have a nice day.â€ Then I get charged for $10 worth of gas even though I have before and after pictures of the gas gauge and there was actually more gas in it when I returned it than when I picked it up. The location was dirty, poorly marked and poorly maintained. Guess they really needed that $10 so I hope they put it to some good use. Also, just had an overall awful experience. No one called me to give me pick up or drop off instructions. I had to place multiple calls to u-haul to figure out how to even get and return my truck. The u-haul app never worked and never pulled my order information into it even though I was advised multiple times to give it time to update and I had to do everything by phone with maybe a total of 10 different representatives. I liked the location, it was close to where I lived, the main problem was using the online pickup and drop off. With the pick up I had to call the location for assistance, the online app was not acting properly so I had to call for assistance. On return it could not determine my location while I was standing in front of the location, I called and was told to drop keys in box and it will be taken care of Monday, my reservation was on a Sunday. On Tuesday I received a bill statement saying I had the vehicle for 2 days. I got a text from Gail to call her to check if the information was correct. I informed Gail that the information was incorrect and sent her a snapshot of the last phone call I made to whoever was taking care of vehicles that day and the ending mileage. Long story short I am currently waiting for funds taken from my banking account to return.Lether L.

There was no one at the location to talk to and it was at what appeared like an unsafe location. It's a run down building. I spent nearly an hour working through multiple glitches on the app and website trying to pick up my rental truck. I even had to rebook the reservation as the original reservation expired because it was taking so long to get through the online process. The truck itself was in poor condition with a driver's side mirror duct taped to the door...I uploaded a picture through the app. It was dangerous driving as the mirror did not hold a fixed position and therefore kept me from seeing other traffic clearly; the truck should never have been rented in this condition. Unfortunately, I had to take it as it was the only one available on a Sunday morning at a closed location that itself is below average. It's been awhile since I last rented a vehicle from UHaul and it'll be awhile again, if ever. UHaul has come a long way downhill.Edward Michael S.
